3. what are you looking forward to right now?
im honestly ready for the holidays to be over LOL i cant wait for things to calm down and go back to normal. christmas is always a crazy time with my huge family and then new years is just like. please. let it be over.
on a more positive note however i am looking forward to getting some books in the mail that i preordered. i have the second avatar roku book coming in the next few days, and then i ordered pangur-and-grim's apparently sir cameron needs to die, which comes out in february. theres also a daredevil novel coming out in march, which if the jessica jones novel was anything to go by, will be very good <3
4. if you could do anything at all today, what would it be?
hm. my day is pretty much over so i'll forward this to tomorrow. i honestly would love to go for a soak in a hot tub. its been a while since ive been in one and it would be so nice. or a natural spring. one of those scandinavian ones where your hair freezes when its wet but the water is so nice while youre in it. that sounds fun
16. what's a piece of advice you would give to yourself five years ago?
dont move away to uni. it will be a waste of money for 3 semesters of misery.
i commute to my uni now and its so much nicer.
i did enter uni at a weird time, since it was still covid protocols and whatever. and i moved in for the spring semester, not the fall, since my fall was online-only. so i did have a particularly weird college dorm experience (not to mention i was forced to dorm with 5 girls as a trans guy). but. i dont know that it would have turned out much better even if it had been fall and non-plague times. all of my friends are at home and i really did not want to put in the effort to make new friends at uni so it was pretty awful.
now i get to hang out with my cat every day and sleep in my own bed AND drive my car wherever i like :)
