“You’re Ryuichi, right? I’m Kayo and I’m glad someone else joined Team Danganronpa.” This will be fun, she thought. She would get the others to kill each other eventually. It was perfect. She wasn’t too chatty and so wasn’t the other by the looks of it. She didn’t mind; she wanted to keep the conversation going anyway.

“...Do you intend to kill people and betray them?” she then asked after a short pause. “Humanity is hopeless, you know.”

“...What do you want? I’m busy.” she tried to shoo the other boy away, though she doubted it would work so easily. He seemed like the persistent type; something that annoyed her to no end. Looking down at her notebook, she doodled a figure getting stabbed by another figure. Then she closed it with a snap and sighed. “I want to enter Danganronpa...”

“I guess you have a point, but... what are you so embarrassed about? Did Miu install some weird function in you again?” The last time she did that it was pretty cool, but now... she wasn’t sure.

“Well, whatever the case, I’m sure everything will be fine, Keebo! Don’t worry about it too much, okay?” she shot him a smile.

Maki had a lot of training to do today, so she went to her girlfriend’s dojo bright and early in the morning. She presumed some of her students would be there already as well as Tenko herself. She enjoyed the life they built together. They’re officially a couple, settling in an apartment and training together every day at her dojo.

She ran up to the building’s entrance to greet the other who was waiting for her.

“Good morning. Am I too early again?” she wondered as she didn’t even stop to have breakfast before coming here. She smiled at her and pecked her cheek. “You seem to be in good spirits. Did you sleep well?”

“You don’t sound okay, Rantaro... you’re sick.” Why would the other deny something so blatantly obvious? The guy’s voice was a little scratchy and even if he didn’t feel his forehead, he could imagine that he was burning up. It’s spring, so it’s normal to get sick, right?

“It’s best if you lie down for a few hours. Maybe sleep too. It will help. I can help too as best as I can, okay?” he smiled at him, patting his back.

“Hmm... what to do...” Kaede was contemplating what to do for the rest of the day. She had hung out with pretty much everyone, took a break to have lunch and now she was left wandering around the courtyard aimlessly.

Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Rantaro and her face lit up. He looked pretty lonely, however, she couldn’t be sure of that if she didn’t say hi. Which she did by running up to him. Yes, the hopeful, optimistic girl loved making friends.

“Hey, Rantaro! How are you? Do you maybe want to hang out and talk about stuff? O-Of course, you don’t have to... I just have nothing to do for the day, haha...”
