“Ah, a new customer! Welcome to “Kaede’s Baking Heaven”! Have a seat. What can I get you? We have cupcakes, cookies and other desserts apart from the regular bread!” Kaede pointed to each one of the desserts she mentioned, a proud smile on her face. She was always happy to see a new costumer and, judging by the girl’s uniform, she must’ve went to the same academy as her.

“I’m Kaede Akamatsu, the Ultimate Baker, by the way. Are you an Ultimate too?” she inquired, her smile widening.

“I guess you have a point, but... what are you so embarrassed about? Did Miu install some weird function in you again?” The last time she did that it was pretty cool, but now... she wasn’t sure.

“Well, whatever the case, I’m sure everything will be fine, Keebo! Don’t worry about it too much, okay?” she shot him a smile.

“Th-they are?! Ah, thanks so much!” she stumbled a bit and nearly dropped the tray in all the excitement. He appreciated her work that much? It made her so happy, her cheeks went a crimson red.

“Y-You’re welcome! Oh, I can make some more now! Or whatever else you want, haha... maybe a milkshake or a smoothie? I know how to make those too! Somewhat.”

“Oh! Sorry, Makoto! Am I bothering you? I can leave if you want...!”

Kaede had just come across him in the library and he appeared to be reading something with a very intense look on his face. She dropped by to get some books for research on a project she was doing. So, on her tiptoes, so as not to disturb him, she leaned up to grab one of them, but was too short, unfortunately.

Looking around, she spotted the ladder and brought it to the spot she wanted to be, climbing up. Upon reaching up with her hand, she took it and climbed down. Now, to do it for four more... this was going to be a hassle without any help.

“Uh... actually, could you help me out a bit?”

“Whoa! Careful! You almost hit me with that!” As she was walking down the hallway on her way to do a few important things for class, she came across Kuwata who was somewhat practicing with his baseball skills. DId he really have to do it here, though? Why not hit the gym?

Shaking her head, she turned to him. “...Kuwata-kun, do you mind practicing somewhere else? You might hit someone...” she reminded him. She was lucky she was running or she would’ve had quite the injury.

She giggled and planted a kiss on his lips, wrapping her arms around tightly.

“...And then I told him ‘Well, sir, if that’s what you think, then maybe you should visit another bakery. I won’t have you insult me like this!’ Ugh, I still can’t believe that guy!” She was talking to him about a very rude costumer she had the other day. He tasted her sweet, however, they weren’t to his liking at all. He claimed they were a bit too sweet.

“But at least I have my best costumer here!” she winked playfully and smiled at him. Shuichi seemed to like her cake quite a lot every time he came here to relax. “So, how’s the new novel going? Care to tell me about it?” Oh, yes. She was anticipating his new book to be released soon. So, of course, she was mighty curious!
