idk i felt like i had to share this with someone but one of my favorite ron moments is in sorcerer's stone during the wizard's chess scene when ron says "as for me, i'll be a knight" like it just made my heart swell with pride and i felt like ron seeing himself as a knight was super important and showed his inner courage and daring and loyalty that make me love him so much
God, I know right?
This boy, this kid right here, with next to zero confidence, realised he had to step up even if he didn’t feel like he was particularly able, because he knew he was the only one who could.
Like, for Ron, that is such a defining moment. Ron Weasley, always plagued by doubt and insecurity realised ‘okay, there’s no time for that right now. I’m going to do my best and that /will/ be enough to get us out of here.’
And people still say he doesn’t belong in Gryffindor. Smh.
