hi there :)

fool - what journey have you recently started?

oooh! so atm i'm actually going through a bunch of change. some of it is for my career and some of it i've seen within my writing - which is so freaking cool!

for such a long time i've felt like i've only played at being a writer - but suddenly i've wanted to look into my particular style & thematic movements, my story structure, my weaknesses & strengths - i want to try and improve - and thanks to so many of my mutuals on this site: @albinoburrito @kugutsuu @libiraki @wickedfaerytale @vermeilies @kazooli @flintstrikes @shig-a-shig-ah @jadequeen88 @devilrainbunnie & countless others, i finally feel like i can do better :]

so thanks guys, for everything - ya'll all mean the world to me!

world - are you satisfied? do you love life or do you just tolerate it?

hmm.

i'd say i'm satisfied in the long term - but when it comes to things that i want to learn more about - no... i don't think i'll ever be satisfied & that's ok!

one of the greatest things about life is that we can always improve - even if we feel like we've reached the end, there's often another level that we can reach for, or aspire to.

while this isn't indicative of everyone-- for me that's such a freeing thought. i hate feeling trapped, so knowing that if i keep pushing i can breech even higher heights is extraordinary.

we can always ask questions, we can always learn, and that's a very precious thing.

𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐄𝐋𝐓𝐘   and for a moment,   it becomes naught but a blurred concept amidst a thousand others.        In its vacant lieu,   spring comes and then even summer re - kindles its dormant kingdom of honey and golds:   within the almost suffocating confines of her ribcage,   the gentlest of seasons alternate themselves to properly tend to the unbound sentiments that first flourish and then flutter with powerful fervor,   now threatening to escape from this mortal cage of flesh and bones in pursuance of finally making themselves known,   heard,   acknowledged. 

The scent of hot chocolate fills the tranquil atmosphere of the private chamber and if it weren’t for the cackling laughter of the boisterous fireplace,   they would have been in complete and utter silence:   underneath a heavy blanket of wool and fur intertwined,   she has curled herself up to him,   molding her body so that it may perfectly fit with his own and memorizing each and every beat of his lamentably fatigued heart.       Kaguya knows that his unexpected request to spend some time together far from the rest of the court is not solely due to his desire to share little moments of intimacy,   but it is also connected to more pressing matters...   Matters that she has accidentally discovered whilst shamefully listening to the mindless chatters of a couple of maids. 

And it is this same discovery that does not allow her to entirely relax despite the longing of her heart for him,   that does not allow her to entirely abandon her thoughts and concerns in order to focus ‘pon him and him alone.       Before long,   she is languidly turning towards him,   cheek resting ‘pon his shoulder and gaze fixated ‘pon the side of his visage.        ❝   You’re leaving...   Aren’t you   ?   ❞        She does not play with words,   nor does she bother to conceal her true intentions behind poetic and vague terms:   the deceitful demeanor normally embraced during her encounters with the nobles is entirely unnecessary now,   for she knows that she can be transparent with him        ⸻        Even when the words waltzing on the edge of her tongue may not be pleasant to his ears.        ❝   I heard two maids talk about the king and about his newest whims and they mentioned a mission that ought to take place in the furthest borders of the kingdom...   A mission that has been given to you.   ❞

All of sudden,   Kaguya straightens up.        The steaming cup in her hands is forgotten as she turns to the side in order to face night - incarnate directly   ;   ‘pon her doll - like visage,   in spite of a few darker shadows of melancholy here and there,   there is naught but unadulterated and genuine affection for the dark general.        ❝   Since you won’t bring me with you,   I assume that it won’t be necessary for you to fight and of this,   I am truly relieved...   But please,   will you promise me to come back safe   ?   I can’t lose the one person who likes hot chocolate as much as I do.   ❞

the hierophant and temperance???

hello my friend! how are you?

hierophant - what traditions or rituals or mantras have you created for yourself?

i'm very much one for rituals - when i write i like to have a cup of tea, or coffee, and a lit candle (preferably one of these) to set the mood - but in my everyday life i'm not as particular.

while i like to have things planned stuff usually has a way of getting away from me - but that's what makes it interesting.

temperance - have you found a comfortable balance in your life?

whenever i get comfortable i always feel like things have a way of shaking themselves up - but yes, right now i'm comfortable. i feel like i'm finally about to sink into a groove & that anticipation always makes me happy - it's nice to have something to look forward to and i hope this period lasts.

but if it doesn't that's ok, too!

life is all about the ups and downs - it's like a tide & while i enjoy the eddies i also like the waves.
