‘ neopolitan ‘ is NOT neo’s true name : it’s simply an alias given to her by roman the day he found her cowering under a pine tree. her real name is ‘ marie ‘, but to be perfectly honest, she’s almost LONG forgotten her given name by now &. has adopted ‘ neo ‘ to the fullest extent. ( also note that NOBODY, even roman, knows her real name, as she has vocal paralysis &. couldn’t say it even if she wanted to. but that in itself is a whole other headcanon. )
