craving for heat, warmth
my god. i usually am the last person to crave for nyc summers (the humidity absolutely derails me), but this winter has been so brutal that i just want to be able to run outdoors while sweating profusely. winter makes running feel so un-sexy. you bundle up in layers, your face covered by beanies and scarves and you can barely feel your face. everyone just sort of moves robotically, hoping to make it through 5 miles.
and it’s been hard biking, too. when you get on the bridge and the wind cuts through you—in a way where it presses past your flesh and into your bones, you start questioning why you threw on the helmet and hopped on the bike in the first place.
spring, please come. (we miss you).
