Fan-Made Tamagotchi Meets & On App ‘Mixing Meets’ Now Available!

Missing the Tamagotchi Meets, and more recently Tamagotchi On app? Have no fear, a substitute is here. We’ve heard whispers throughout the community for months, and now it has been released! Several key members of the Tamagotchi community got together to archive and reengineer the Tamagotchi Meets and On app to ensure it could be used once the applications were shutdown from Bandai.

MixingMeets, the fan-made Tamagotchi Meets and On application is now open to the public. The application will take the experience to the next level with more features, and even more characters! At this time there are over 90 marriage characters, a live town feature to let you know who is online, and a profile feature to help you keep track of genetics throughout the generations.

There's an official website for the application where you can learn more about it here. The application is running on custom servers compatible with the existing application client, with slight modifications. It’s important to note that the creators of the application are not affiliated with Bandai or any particular company. The project is free, no fees of any kind of paid services are part of it. Donations are being accepted, and there is a link on their website.

The MixingMeets application is only available for Android devices at this time, and can only be obtained by downloading an APK file and installing the application on your device, not through a traditional application store such as the Google Play store. The link for the APK is exclusively on their Discord channel, under the download channel.

Tamagotchi On App: Polybaketchi is The Final May Guest

The trash can is coming back to the Tamagotchi On app for the last time this May! Bandai Namco US has just announced on the official Tamagotchi US social media profiles that Polybaketchi will be back in the Tama Park for the month of May. Starting on Sunday, May 1st 2022 at 2:00AM PST and wrapping up on Wednesday, June 1st 2022 at 2:00AM PST you’ll get the chance to visit Polybaketchi and even get married to inherit those desirable trash can genetics!

This might be your last time to marry him, so choose wisely! Historically Polybaetchi has hosted the Mother’s Day event where he’ll give out the Mother’s Day wallpaper and a fruit tart, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see that again.

Tamagotchi On App: Paintotchi is The Final July Guest

Paintotchi is back for a third time, and his final time. Since the Tamagotchi On application is set to shutdown on August 31st, 2022 this will in fact be the last time we see him on the app. Bandai Namco US has announced the monthly guest on their social media profiles. Paintotchi will be in the Tama Park from Friday July 1st at 2:00AM PDT through Monday August 1st, 2022!

It’s your final time to visit Paintotchi and maybe even fall in love at the Tama Party! Who doesn’t want those paint genetics? Enjoy it while it lasts!

Tamagotchi On App: C-Rabbitchi Is Back for Final Easter Event

No surprise that the iconic C-Rabbitchi is back as April’s special guest on the Tamagotchi On app! To help celebrate Easter, C-Rabbitchi will grace us with her presence at the Tama Park, we’re sure she’ll be handing gifts out all month that will get you in the Easter spirit! Also, if you fall in love at the Tama Party, you can inherit her genes, for the last time ever since the application is set to be shut down on August 31st, 2022! Please enjoy the final Easter event!

With Tamagotchi Meets App Shutdown, Tamagotchi Meets Owners Flock to Tamagotchi On App

We knew this would happen! Tamagotchi Meets fans have been very vocal about their feelings around the Tamagotchi Meets application shutdown that occurred on February 23rd, 2022. The application is a key feature of the Meets, and made marriage a lot easier than on the device. Knowing that the Tamagotchi On application has similar fate six months later, Meets owners have flocked to the Tamagotchi On application.

How is this possible? Although the Tamagotchi On application is only available in both Canada and the United States, you can manipulate your country select in the app store to one of these countries and download the application. The application doesn’t require a log in so that makes it even easier. Of course the Tamagotchi On application is in English, but verbiage is quite limited, so Japanese users have been able to manage.

Yes, the Tamagotchi Meets does connect with the Tamagotchi On, and you can connect your Meets to the On app, and vice versa. This is something we found out years ago. Since the devices are merely identical, and the only difference being their language, the Tamagotchi Meets application has no problem connecting to the Tamagotchi On application.

The clock is ticking. Both Tamagotchi Meets and Tamagotchi On owners know that we only have until August 31st, 2022 to enjoy the application. Once September 1st, 2022 hits the application will be shutdown and there isn’t another application publicly available that will connect to the Meets nor the On. That will be a sad day.

Bandai America: We are NOT Shutting Down The Tamagotchi On App

SIGH OF RELIEF. Once we heard that Bandai Japan was officially shutting down the Tamagotchi Meets application on February 28, 2022 we went into a panic. We reached out to Bandai America to see the fate of the beloved Tamagotchi On application, which is the perfect companion to the Tamagotchi On released back in July of 2019 in North America.

You’ll be pleased to hear that Bandai America has no current plans to shutdown the Tamagotchi On application. The application will still be supported even after the termination of the Japanese counterpart. Why you might ask? Bandai America notes that the Tamagotchi On is still available for purchase in North America, and they they know there are constantly new buyers. They’re not looking to remove a key feature from such a popular device that is still in production, and still being sold!

Tamagotchi On App: Pumpkitchi Is Back for October 2021

Anyone else counting down the days until Halloween? Bandai America has just announced via their social media profiles that this October Pumpkitchi is back! That’s right, Pumpkitchi is the special guest on the Tamagotchi On App for month of October! Pumpkitchi will be in the Tama Park and Tama Party from October 1st 2:00AM PST through November 1st 2:00AM PST. You’ll want those spooky genes so be sure to check out the Tama Party during that time. We wouldn’t be surprised if he comes back with some treats as he did the last two years. It also look’s like the Tama Park will get Halloween decorations again, we love this time of year!
