This is a very specific request, which makes me wonder if you are thinking of one particular fic. I list below Klaine fics where Blaine’s father is physically abusive. Sometimes he has to go to the hospital but he doesn’t. Most times, it is Blaine who cuts off contact with his father. I hope one of these is what you are looking for. Kurt leads them both down a dark, twisting path toward recovery and they find a way to fall in love, against all odds.
