Bookish Would You Rather

Have unlimited money for ebooks, or a $5000 Barnes and Noble gift card?
I can’t stand ebooks, simply because I get headaches reading a lot on computers and other devices, so it’s just not the best way to read for me. I also just prefer the feel of a physical book, so I’d have to go with the gift card!
Meet any deceased poet or J.K. Rowling?
I’ve always said I’d love to meet Shakespeare if I could go back in time, I’ve been obsessed for ages. I actually chose to study English Literature in highschool instead of English simply because we got to study Shakespeare!
Write the world’s most famous book, or visit the world of your favourite book for one day?
Definitely write the world’s most famous book (although it would need to be for positive reasons). I’ve wanted to be an author for as long as I can remember-as a kid I loved reading so much I thought that writing had to be the best job for me! And one day would probably not be long enough to explore my favourite book anyway!
Choose Team Will or Team Jem (from The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare)(insert the characters involved in your favorite love triangle here)?
I personally am not a fan of love triangles, so it’s difficult to talk about a favourite love triangle, but this is one love triangle I didn’t actually despise at least one of the individuals. I love both Will and Jem separately, as friends and with Tessa, I just prefer Team Will is all. But either way, Cassandra Clare handled this particular love triangle really well.
Experience Hogwarts in a very realistic and accurate virtual reality, or travel around the world for a year, at no cost?
Definitely travel! With Hogwarts I’d want the real thing anyway! But even though I’ve been lucky enough to travel a lot already, there’s still plenty of places I’d love to go, especially as a classics and ancient history student I have my eye on a lot of countries-Jordan is a must see as I’ve studied it a bit this year.

Burn: Fangirl - i’m jus here to say i don’t like RR (even though I actually love this book)
Read: The Book Thief - it’s been too long since i last read this.......... i need a refresher on the Pain
Rewrite: Six of Crows - i really am gonna say this for every ask that includes this one lmao but this would be a perfect series if Leigh just did representation correctly
Put three books in my ask.
Me, a woman, listening to some guy mansplain a Charles Bukowski novel to me:
It’s been a long time but...I’m back.
Missed you, Booklr. More posts to come shortly!
When the Kindle version is more expensive than the paperback:
Me: *nods while listening to classmate participate in a lecture*
Professor: "You're nodding your head. Do you have anything to add?"
Me externally:
Also me, after a long pause: "Not at the moment."
