In February 2017, my fiancée & I went to NYC & stayed in Brooklyn. Upon arrival after a gruelling 10-hour bus ride, we heard they were playing some Oscar-nominated animated short films & a few other shorts at @syndicatedbk . We somehow snagged the last 2 tickets to the sold-out screening & it was an incredibly beautiful experience. The perfect introduction to Brooklyn. The moment was straight out of a romantic comedy & still one of my favourite memories from that trip. The next day I drew this doodle of us taking in the wonderful animated short #OnceUponALine in a notebook.
