“In sickness and in health.”
Request: Can I request Jeong taking care of Jihyo who has the flu scenario ?
a/u: Hey, guys! So I’m posting this today in honor of my birthday. So I hope you all enjoy and thank you for all the love and support. It means the world to me. I love you guys! (Also Baby! Tzuyu is the cutest thing in the world)
The sheets were way too damp and the body next to hers was way too warm. Jihyo groaned as she opened her eyes, the light filtering through the curtains seemed to burn almost as much as her body did. “Not feeling well?” Jihyo’s attention was drawn to her wife as she herself blinked sleep away; Jeongyeon’s short hair partially covered her eyes as she smiled up at the younger woman.
“What gave you that idea?” Jeongyeon shrugged as she sat up, stretching as she leaned over to place a kiss on Jihyo’s cheek.
“You’re really warm and you’re sweating. I’ll call in sick for you.” Jihyo pouted at her wife as she got up.
“But I have a big presentation today, I have some investors coming in.” The older woman just shook her head as she moved to her wife’s side of the bed, stroking her hair. Jihyo leaned into her touch as she rested her cheek against Jeongyeon’s stomach.
“Park Inc. can go one day without their CEO, and you can just reschedule with the investors; your health is more important.” Jihyo sighed as she laid back in bed, there was no way on Earth she could get her wife to let her go to work.
“Fine, Jeongyeon-ah. You win.” Jeongyeon smiled as she kissed her wife’s head.
“Finally. We get to…” Before she could finish her sentence their bedroom door burst open and a little girl seemed to materialize before their eyes.
“Momma! Mommy!” The little girl jumped on the bed, then jumped into Jeongyeon’s open arms, hugging her mother.
“Good morning to you too, Tzumong.” The older woman kissed her daughter’s cheek, making her giggle, “What did we say about jumping on people?”
Tzuyu immediately stopped squirming as she looked down, “To not do that.” Jeongyeon nodded as their daughter began to sulk, causing Jihyo to butt in.
“But today was okay, baby. We missed you when we were asleep and couldn’t have been woken up any better way.” Tzuyu immediately shifts in Jeongyeon’s arms to try and hug her other mother, but was stopped when Jeong held her still.
“Momma, put me down. I wanna hug, Mommy.” But Jeongyeon just shook her head.
“Mommy’s sick, Chewy. I don’t want you to catch what she has.” But Tzuyu just crossed her arms, the pigtails on her head not helping her look any more menacing. Jihyo winked at her daughter.
“But you’re depriving me of my best medicine. You suck, Jeongie.” Jeongyeon looked at her wife in disbelief as Tzuyu stuck her tongue out at her.
“Yeah, Momma. You’re being mean.” The older woman sighed as she sat down on the bed, placing Tzuyu between herself and Jihyo.
“No, I’m not,” It was now Jeongyeon’s turn to pout as she looked at her wife and daughter, “How about you and me go make Mommy some soup, you can stir for me. Okay, Tzuyu-ah?” At the prospect of helping Tzuyu’s attitude towards Jeong made a 360 as she hopped off the bed and pulled her mother’s hand.
“Okay, Momma! Let’s make Mommy better!”
As the night set in, so did Tzuyu’s energy as Jeongyeon tucked her into bed; she kissed their daughter’s forehead while Jihyo blew one from the doorway. As soon as they closed the door Jeong let out a long sigh as she slumped against her wife.
“You have no plans of giving Tzuyu a sibling anytime soon, do you?” Jihyo let out a small laugh as she leaned against her wife.
“Why? Too much to handle.” Jeongyeon just nodded her head as they walked into the master bathroom, the older already starting the bath.
“With you sick, and Tzuyu’s abundant three year old energy. I’m spent.” Jihyo laughed as she and her wife stripped off their clothes and checked the water; Jeong’s eyes were not so subtly tracing her wife’s figure as they got into the tub.
Jihyo’s eyes looked down as she tried to cover her body, “Can you not stare. I know my body still looks gross from when I was pregnant with Tzuyu.” Jeongyeon just shook her head, as she pulled Jihyo flush against her.
“When will you see what I see?” Her wife gave her a confused look as she continued, “I love you, for you. We’ve been married for almost seven years now, and had a beautiful daughter together. I look at you to make sure you’re actually real, and I’m not just dreaming.”
Jihyo’s cheeks had taken on a light blush by then, “Uh! Why do you always have to be so romantic. You make me look bad.” Jeongyeon just smiled.
“You could never look bad. That’s like humanly impossible for you to do that.” Jihyo just rolled her eyes.
Jeong smirked, “God Jihyo.” At the nickname Jihyo splashed water into her wife’s face,
“Hey! I’m just trying to tell you how much I love you.” A smile formed on Jihyo’s lips as she kissed her wife.
“I know.” But Jeong quickly put water over her mouth.
“Are you crazy! You’re gonna get me sick!” Jihyo just laughed as she hugged Jeongyeon.
“In sickness and in health.” Jeong smiled as she shook her head, grabbing Jihyo’s left hand as she kissed her ring finger. Then winked.
