Georges Jenny was a French musician, poet and inventor of the ONDIOLINE, considered a forerunner of the Synthesizer.

First conceived by him in 1939, he continued refining and reconfiguring the device, producing dozens of variant models up until his death in 1975.

in case you've been living under a rock, i am jennifer ondioline. i am a model, singer, art pedagogist, aspiring environmental scientist, expert on grand rapids michigan esoterica, CFO of stop records, nuclear energy advocate, NTSB investigator, socialite, old crone, former resident of hooterville, genetically modified organism, and the second most famous transsexual woman from germany ! here is a bit about myself:

02.13 18 The Mixology Festival 2018 at Roulette kicked off with a celebration of the artist Jean-Jacques Perrey and the Ondioline, an early electronic keyboard instrument invented by Georges Jenny, organized and performed by Australian pop artist Wally De Backer aka Gotye, and band.

1. Carillon

A carillon is made up of multiple bells played often by a group of rods moved by the player, who is called a carillonneur. (Clip)

2. Pagophone

The pagophone looks similar in shape to say, a marimba or vibraphone, but it’s bars are made of ice (!) and it makes a deep blocky sound. (Clip)
