1. Carillon
A carillon is made up of multiple bells played often by a group of rods moved by the player, who is called a carillonneur. (Clip)
2. Pagophone
The pagophone looks similar in shape to say, a marimba or vibraphone, but it’s bars are made of ice (!) and it makes a deep blocky sound. (Clip)
3. Hang
The Hang is a more recent instrument (2000) that has a very similar sound to steel drums. The interest it generated inspired a whole line of instruments similar to it like the Halo, BElls, and the spacedrum. (Clip)
