Kiss You

One Direction era Liam
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The morning light spilled over the lake like gold dust, scattering warmth across the quiet countryside. The world outside was still, but inside the bridal suite, everything felt alive — the air buzzing with perfume, laughter, and the sound of your heart hammering against your ribs.
Your dress hung by the window, catching every shimmer of the morning sun. It wasn’t extravagant, but it was you — elegant, soft, and simple in the way Liam always said he loved most. You caught your reflection in the mirror, breath hitching as you thought about him waiting at the end of that aisle.
“Ready?” your maid of honor whispered.
You smiled. “I’ve never been more sure of anything.”
Outside, the guests rose as the first notes of the string quartet filled the air. Liam stood beneath the archway, nerves rolling through him despite the steady grin on his face. His fingers fidgeted with the silver ring he’d soon place on your hand — the one he’d picked out himself, simple but meaningful, engraved with the words my forever.
When you appeared, his breath caught.
You weren’t just walking down the aisle — you were gliding, eyes locked with his, lips trembling between a smile and tears. He mouthed, “You’re beautiful,” and you nearly laughed through the lump in your throat.
Every step was a heartbeat closer to forever.
When your hand slipped into his, the whole world quieted.
“I thought I’d be nervous,” Liam whispered, voice shaking just slightly. “But standing here with you… I just feel at home.”
The vows came next — soft and trembling, written in your own handwriting the night before.
“You were never the person I expected, Liam. You were the person I needed. You made me believe in ordinary magic — the kind that lives in morning coffees and shared laughter. I don’t promise perfection, but I promise you everything that I am.”
Liam’s eyes glistened as he replied:
“I’ve sung a thousand songs, but none of them ever felt right until you walked into my life. You are the music I didn’t know I’d been missing.”
When the officiant said the words, “You may kiss the bride,” Liam didn’t wait — his hands framed your face, and the world disappeared in a blur of applause, cheers, and warmth.
Later, under the fairy lights and stars, he held you close during your first dance. The song playing wasn’t one of his — it was yours. A quiet ballad you both loved, the kind that didn’t need fame or perfection to make it feel right.
His lips brushed your ear as you swayed.
“Mrs. Payne,” he murmured, grin soft against your skin. “Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?”
You laughed quietly, hands gripping the back of his suit.
“It sounds like forever.”
The sun shined one last time for you. Goodbye, Liam! 💔😭
I hope you can finally rest in peace now... 🕊️
