A/N: I've never really done one-liners before, but I'll do my best! I'm assuming the reader is the one with the crush on Mophead? And I'm also assuming it's one-sided.

MOPHEAD X READER - ANGSTY ONE-LINERS (ENEMIES TO "LOVERS")
Enemies
You were envious of Mophead. They could barely remember anything, any of the horrible things that had happened to them. You began antagonizing Mophead when you could or straight up ignoring them.
"...Why did you- why would you say something like that?"
"Just leave me alone, won't you!?! I've done nothing to- nothing to you for this to happen!"
"Why...why do you hate me so much?"
"You treat me like shit, and now you have the audacity to ask me for help? I can't believe you."
Repairing relationship/Almost friends
It didn't fix anything. And now you have the rest of their bunk giving you side eyes and being cold towards you. You needed to act better.
"Sorry? You're sorry for being rude to me? You seriously think- you think I'm going to forgive you just because you said sorry?"
"...This isn't going to make me forgive you, you know."
"At least you're.... genuinely remorseful."
"I guess you're not too terrible, when you don't hate me."
One-sided crush
You don't know how it happened, you don't know when you started feeling this way. All you know is that your relationship with Mophead is held together by fragile threads. But who could ignore that burning want?
"Were you the one that left the extra jam jar in my pack? Why...why did you do that?"
"You...did you seriously just- just defend me?"
"You're being very...friendly all of a sudden. Did you know that?"
"I'm sorry I don't- I don't feel the same way. What made you think I did? With the way you used to treat me?"
A/N: Honestly I'm a little scared about this one, I hope I did a good job!
I am currently a huge fan of really specifically dropped one-liners characters say before something opposite (and usually dangerous or violent) happens... like:
"Oh, it's not even loaded!!" *Gun goes off in their hand*
"That guy? He doesn't have a clue!" *The guy is currently standing right behind them menacingly, ready to beat them up over what he knows*
"Psh. It's not stealing if you don't get caught!!" *immediate next cut is to them bring thrown into jail/prison*
"And as god is my witness, if I'm lying he can–" *Struck by lightning*
And, my favorite:
"It'd be a real shame to start off on the wrong foot!" *Steps on a landmine and promptly explodes and dies*
