Missed a day

So here's a brief review of Warframe 1999

Good stuff, as always lately the Warframe team is killing it. The shifting seasons makes the tileset feel more different than I thought, the number of voice lines from all the new VA's is insane, Scaldra are kinda annoying but Techrot is fun as hell. The conversations/dating sim is incredibly engaging and well-written, but I was super disappointed to find out the conversations just stop when you reach "Best Friends" with each of the Hex. I'm not looking for an infinite well of conversation, but people don't just stop talking when they're considered "Best Friends," though I greatly enjoy that if you've reached "Loved" with one of them then they hang out in your flat saying just the best things. Can't wait for my kiss!

A Year in Review: 2024

Let's start with the good, shall we?

Discovered great music all year.

Tried some new board games.

Mechabellum.

Started and completed a large painting project.

Finally got paid for a vacation taken exactly a year before.

Heroscape revival.

Got back into the semblance of an exercise routine.

Space Marine 2.

The Amazing Digital Circus.

Therapy.

Now for the shit:

Spent my first day firing from both ends for 48 hours.

Strained my back.

Gained 30lbs.

Workplace bullshittery.

Election year.

ALLERGIES from April until November.

Good friend / gaming partner moved out of state.

Extreme heat.

Paralyzing anxiety.

Cheez Wiz re-elected.

Medical bills.

Family drama

Persistent sinus infection

Anomalie - Santa Claus is Coming to Town

I love the use of the term "productive" when used for coughing. Like you know exactly what a productive cough is, a good phlegmy one that clears your throat, doesn't hurt much most of the time. And then the unproductive coughs, your throat's just feeling irritated or tickly, and that doesn't just go away even with lozenges, gets worse as you cough more, to the point where your voice is gone.
