So, after a lot of time away, I have decided to start writing. And people wanted a second part/continuation to my one shot which was also a GreekGod!Ares x F!Reader.
Hope you enjoy!

After Ares had taken kidnapped you away from the army camp, your life had quite literally turned upside down.
He had taken your unconscious body to an unmapped island in the middle of nowhere. To a palace, that even Aphrodite was unaware of.
He had woken you with the gentlest of touches. You were like a small, frightened kitten to him. He didn’t want to startle you than he already had.
Your eyes slowly blinked open, at first you thought that you were in your cot along with the other woman at the camp. But then you felt a hand stroking your hair and the smell of the salty sea hit you.
You jerked away from the hand and took a wild look around the room. Ares smiled, for a god known for his short fuse, he was surprisingly patient with you.
“I’m glad that you have finally woken up. I was worried that the shock might have been too much for your poor, dainty heart.”
You clutched at your chest. You were afraid of him. He was a god and you were a mere mortal. You remember the stories your mother used to tell you, about the mortals that the gods would be involved with. And how most of them were met with the most gruesome of deaths. Medusa being the most prominent.
You looked around again, it was a spacious, airy room. With a pleasant breeze flowing through. In other circumstances you would be ecstatic to find yourself here.
“You haven’t said anything yet, my little love.”
You flinched. Your throat had dried up all of a sudden. You bowed before him, he chuckled. “My Lord, it is an honour to have your attention. But, I’m afraid...”
His eyes flashed, whether it was anger or curiosity, you couldn’t tell. “Afraid of what?”
“Of Lady Aphrodite. Of your mother. Of a gruesome death.”
You stood up from the cot while saying this. Trembling, afraid, tired.
Ares’ eyes flashed. His mouth lifted in a grin, a manic smile. “They don’t have to worry about something that they aren’t aware of. Even if they did find out, they can’t touch a hair on your body unless they want to know what wrath looks like up-close and personal.”
You flinched, you were just so afraid of incurring his anger. He came closer to you, lifting up his coarse hands to brush away the hair that had fallen over your face. Your blush was involuntary, he took that as an invitation.
“Tell me, little love. How do you feel? To have one of the strongest Olympians focus his time and attention on you? Do you like it?”
You gulped.
“Again, My Lord. I’m deeply honoured.”
“Tch.”
You flinched.
“Don’t call me ‘My Lord’ again. There shouldn’t be such or any formalities among close companions.”
You nodded.
He walked a little away from you. You felt air enter your lungs again. He toyed with your hair tie next to the cot. Sighed and looked back at you.
“I’m not going to hurt you, little love. Let’s just say that the selflessness that you have showed in your prayers had more than impressed me. Your new. Your a breath of fresh, mountain air.”
The blush was involuntary.
“Th-Thank you, sir”
He sighed again. “Call me Ares, little love.”
He walked closer to you, gave you light kiss on the forehead. “I’ll make sure that no harm comes to you, and that you will never want for company ever again.”
You were too distracted to give him an answer. His eyes...were so beautiful. A pale golden colour with specks of brown and green in them. And when they glowed they morphed into the perfect shade of red. Breathtaking.
He kept the eye contact, never blinking, focusing on your eyes.
“Your eyes are so beautiful.” You both thought out loud at the same time. He smiled and you chocked.
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to stare.”
“It’s alright. You can stare all you want. I don’t mind.”
You smiled. Maybe staying here won’t be that bad after all. But your brother and father.
Tears started gathering on your bottom lashes.
Ares brushes them away. “What’s the matter, little love?”
“My father and brother. They will worry.”
“No they won’t.”
“Why?”
“Because I told them that I have taken you to be my bride.”
Your eyes bulged. “Me?!”
He nods.
“Your perfect, little love. I can’t wait to spend the rest of your life together.”

So I have presented Ares very differently.
Trope: Asshole to the world, sweetheart to his s/o.
Hoped you liked it.
Sorry to keep everyone waiting.
