I dont even know what to say, really... Last time I saw you, you were happily on your way out of the Corps, man. You were not only one of the saltiest motherfucker I've ever worked with, but also the chillest dude I've ever met. When I got attached to your squad during deployment, you, Young, and Garland kept us boots in check and took care of us during those days in good ol' Afghanistan. Hearing of your passing hit me like a fucking brick, I ain't gonna lie. You took everything with a grain of salt and were always chill about things. Rest easy, brother... until we all see each other again. PS: For anybody who is struggling with depression and contemplating suicide, please do not be afraid of asking for help. You are not alone. Depression fucking sucks. There are many who know exactly how it feels like, and how it can rob you of any joy for life and substitute it for an hopelessness so immense that you feel like there's no way out.
