Emily and I have come to the conclusion that cosplay is like a video game. You start off not knowing a lot, and as you go along you meet friends who help you level up your cosplay skills, until eventually you make your dream costume. In which you beat the final boss. And then you move onto the next game, when you have new cosplay goals.
