{一人で}➺ Someone knew this time. SOMEONE KNEW WHERE SHE WAS FROM, WHO SHE WAS, and this time, like many others, they didn’t believe a word of it. She’d simply come in here to have a little lunch with her Pokemon. THANKFULLY NONE OF THEM WERE OUT TO SEE AND HEAR ALL THE YELLING AND COMMOTION. Customers had left, had walked out to avoid the conversations entirely. The manager was SPOUTING HORRIBLE THINGS AT HER, and each one started to dig deeper than the last.

                                                                      “I will not serve someone who claims to be a Champion from a region that doesn’t exist! None of us have ever been there, and most maps don’t even show it! Get out of my shop, lass, you don’t belong here! Don’t ever come back either!”

{再び行った}➺ “I ain’t a liar! It’s true! Besides, why would ya know ‘bout it since I never even mentioned it in tha first place!”

{一人で}➺ She couldn’t stand BEING CALLED A LIAR. She hated it every single time it happened. No one wanted to deal with her when they knew who she was, it seemed. Most people TRULY NEVER DID BELIEVE RAREITA EXISTED. The news reports were so few and far between outside the region itself, IT WAS ROUGH FINDING PEOPLE WHO WOULD ACCEPT THAT FAMOUS TITLE WHEN THEY RECOGNIZED IT. As long as Rareita was new to the map, so was the mess that came with being it’s figurehead.

                                                      “I don’t care what you say, lass! You don’t belong here! You never will! Now get out of my shop before I call the police! Rareita has never existed and it never will no matter how many times you try to make it! It’s just a stupid rumor!”

{一人で}➺ She falls silent. FALLS DEAD SILENT AS SHE LISTENS TO THE WOMAN’S WORDS. Her heart sinks into her chest and she huffs slightly. This woman wouldn’t be convinced. SHE’D JUST HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO GO, she supposed. While she could cook, going out was often rather nice. Gave her and her Pokemon to take things slow, BUT THIS WASN’T SLOW AT ALL, IT WAS HEATED AND MADE HER BLOOD BOIL. She turns and starts to walk out. She supposed NOT ALL BATTLES COULD BE WON.
