Personal notes:
Oneiromagic is a special kind of magic available only to those whom can dream, and of those people, only ones able to lucid dream. It can be a challenging form of magic to learn, as one needs to first learn how to be aware that they are asleep.
For most people this can be a challenge as dreams also tend to be completely forgotten within minuets after waking up. oneiromages will tend to keep dream journals to practice remembering their dreams.
A skilled practitioner of oneiromagic can delve into oneiromancy, the divination of past, present or future events by use of dreams. What they can see is highly dependent upon the circumstances of how they go to sleep. For instance, if oneiromage were to sleep in a haunted house, he or she may be able to divine why that home had become haunted.
An extraordinarily rare gift is Oneiroafi, the practice of meeting another person via dreams. So little is known about oneiroafi that it is currently unknown as to why or how this occurs. It is believed that strong connections between a person and an oneiromage that have formed or have yet to form will draw the mage out to the person, allowing the mage to either view the person as they currently are in the present or even connect to them in their own dreams.
The study of oneiromagic is poorly understood as it is a tricky and difficult art of magic to practice. Yet the rewards to those mages able to accomplish this have another source of magic to draw upon, as well as making them much less vulnerable whilst asleep.
