Can't believe it's almost 6 months since I traveled here. It still gives me the giddy feeling. Rohtang had always been on my bucket list. It's one of the places I always wanted to visit but never thought it possible especially after my trip to Ladakh, because the road had to be closed when I was there 😑. Also I wanted to experience it on a bike even though I could hardly balance one! But like SRK said in Om Shanti Om, 'agar kisi chiz ko shiddat se chaaho toh puri kaynaat tumhe usse milaane ki saazish mei lag jati he'😊 I still remember it like it was yesterday, waking up at 4.30, just to experience the pass, travelling in local buses (fyi they're not supposed to be called buses, they should be called roller coasters, they'd give adventure parks a run for their money, I tell you😂! P.s. don't believe me? When in Himachal travel in a local bus when traveling in the mountains, you'll know what I mean) Hitchhiking rides - thank you to the kind gentleman who gave me a lift on his bike and helped me fulfill a dream and cross the experience off my bucket list, freezing temperatures, numb hands and feet, adding to that the rainfall, at 13058ft, had the time of my life!
