Suggest to your depressed GM that you run a short palate cleanser campaign in a different system while they get their campaign together, then get hit by your own depression and don’t prepare anything until 48 hours before the first session starts.

@onesingulardimple replied to On “enby” and age:
Was nb a checkbox response? I'd be interested in seeing an age based breakdown of non-binary Vs queer Vs enby Vs nb etc
No, unfortunately not. It was typed in 45 times, or by 0.18% of participants - nowhere near the 1% threshold for it to be included as a checkbox term next year. An age-based breakdown of nonbinary vs. queer vs. enby is possible, though!
I'm thinking I want to run the Edge of the Empire campaign you were talking about with hunting big monsters in the coruscant undercity, but Tumblr is bad and I can't search your blog for it - are you able to reblog it please? Thank you!
oh! You’re looking for my Dark Meat Hunters AU! If you use it, please tag me in any game updates becuase I’m really curious to see what people do with this concept!

My mother-in-law used to work for Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory but the shitty manager there never made her sign the nondisclosure agreement before running the store into the ground so she stole the recpie book and one of the melting machines on the way out and now make bootleg RMCF goodies every holiday.

Thing to think about: I’ve not experienced it, but apparently ally used to be a codeword for closeted So allies were able to go to lgbt+ events without outing themselves over it People who shove agender/aro/ace people out of the way for allies definitely have the wrong end of the stick though - am ace/agender myself
I did not know that, but it makes perfect sense.
For fursona: anteater I don't know you enough to have an actual informed opinion, but I think it's funny
That is…not one I would have chosen for myself. Linking it to the Anteater from Gödel, Escher, Bach is thought-provoking, though!
onesingulardimple replied to your post: binghsien: The Oxford comma still does not...
“at the party were two strippers, John F Kennedy and Karl Marx.” Vs “At the party there were two strippers, John F Kennedy, and Karl Marx” The Oxford comma is a good thing
As @binghsien noted, it can just as easily make a sentence less comprehensible as more. Given that, any argument based on general utility is null. I believe it should be used when, and only when, it materially increases comprehensibility.
