The girl walking toward her on the sidewalk caught Cosima's attention. Shed never been one for doing things out of random, but having had a few drinks, and never kissing in the rain, she grabbed the girl as she walked by, pressing their lips together
If there was one thing Spencer didn’t do, it was kissing, especially with people she hardly knew. So she was a little taken back when Cosima pulled her into an embrace and planted a kiss upon her lips. She’d let it slide this time. And she’d be lying if she didn’t think locking lips in the pouring rain wasn’t romantic. “Hello to you, too,” she said breathlessly before flashing the girl a crooked grin.

Delphine Cormier enjoyed her job, if you could even call it a job, she was barely paid for the work she did. Not that she minded at the end of the day though, she was doing what she enjoyed. She was interning at a hospital, far away from her home country of France. Again, she didn't mind that, she wasn't getting anywhere in her town and this was the biggest opportunity of her life.
Besides, she was used to the way things worked around here now. She did her rounds in the morning, then took a break, before dealing with whatever paperwork needed to be dealt with. Though naturally she had a highlight to her day, visiting a certain ward.
There was a woman there who she was fascinated with, they had never really spoken, as her mentor was the one who dealt directly with the patients, but the optimism and humour of the woman, who she learned had a last name of Niehaus, was something Delphine looked forward to witnessing each morning.
As Delphine arrived at the ward where the mysterious girl was staying, her mood lifted considerably, after having to deal with a particularly dull patient in the previous ward. She followed closely behind her mentor, Dr. Leekie, and offered the dreadlocked girl a warm smile, as she did every morning, adding a tiny wave on the end of the gesture.

Something about finding this girl had been harder than Elyse thought it would have been. Almost as if she were being pulled in different directions, though she has no idea how that's possible. Regardless, she'd found the woman with dreadlocks woven through her hair. All she has to do now, is bring her in, or let her temporary bosses know where she was.
"You look like you need some help."

Spencer had arrived at the venue a little after the doors had opened, letting all of those fangirls crowd around the stage first. Even though she wasn't the type to get mixed in with those kinds of girls in the first place. She was a fan of Never Shout Never, no doubt. But she was here solely for the love of their music and not Christofer Drew's pretty boy face, like everyone else. So with a beer in her hand, Spencer made her way up to the balcony that overlooked the stage where a few people had littered the outside railing, but mostly, it was away from the sea of people.
The opening band came and went, so did some of the fans that had surrounded her. But there was one girl in particular that caught her eye who had managed to move beside her. This was no place for conversation but upstairs had been a tad quieter and Spencer just had to strike up a conversation with this woman. "So..." Spencer's voiced rose high enough so that the other girl was able to hear her above the pounding of the bass. "Big fan?"
