Although I updated part 64, this is the first true new update for this fanfiction in over a year. In brief summary: while I was away I quit my job, moved to Ireland, did all the coursework for a graduate degree, and then moved back to the USA.

I now work a retail job now for 9 hours a day with a 1 hour commute each way. 

You can imagine that I don’t have too much time to work on this project. In the meantime, I’ve been trying to draw the line art while commuting on the train.

The backgrounds of this update were a mixture of Blender, and manipulated photos from back when I was living overseas. Some of the featured figures in the background assets are Revan, Malak, Sion, Nihilus, Ulic Qel Droma, Aleema Keto, and Exar Kun.

This is another update with an inconsistent LineArt style. Before I figured out that I could run CSP on this laptop, I was running FireAlpaca. It’s never been a software I have felt super comfortable doing line art in, but I wanted to work with the resources I had at the time. 

This art style has noticeable deficiencies; but my philosophy for this project has been that it’s better to be done and imperfect than not done at all. If I focus too much on perfectionism, I stop enjoying the process. Henceforth, i will try to ensure stylistic continuity while completing this project.

This is one of the updates I was looking most-forward to posting! However, it was also the longest—this update is 15 panels long! It will probably be the longest update of the entire fan story!

I still haven't bought the art computer I am saving up for, but I'm slowly getting into using FireAlpaca on the computer I am borrowing. The least I can do is try to finish some panels I had WIPs sitting around for.

As much as I prefer having all the tools of CSP at my disposal, I like to tell myself that the main limitation is my mind. I can still make decent work with what I have.

Sometimes, I write placeholder titles for these updates. This one was called “Everyone Hates Mara.”

In her defense, everyone makes mistakes, from someone not explaining to her brother that their mutual father is a Sith Lord to summoning Grandpa Palpatine to their location. 

I deleted a line from the script where Galen still tries to enforce Vader’s will by telling Leia not to swear. It would have made it funnier if he had sworn at the end, but I ultimately didn’t like the bossiness of the line, so I cut it.

I want to finish this fan comic before I go to graduate school in September. Let's see if I can accomplish that goal. I apologize if I don't, as there will probably be a significant hiatus once I go to college. 

This update initially had six planned panels, but the perfectionist in me somehow added three more. 

I sometimes feel like I have such a weird hobby.

They should just turn around and go home. There's no chance they can save Ahsoka when facing this kind of challenge.
