love next door stray thoughts:

i was one that was a bit meh at the cancer storyline but i do like how it wrapped up. as an intl student, seokryu's decision really resonated with me. not going into much detail, but i was sick for a bit, but my parents didn't (and still don't) know, because that's kind of how it is when you live apart from them.

in all, i do like the cancer storyline as a whole, it almost veered off track, but this episode tied it in somewhat nicely that i'm okay with. and it seems like it'll not be a problem (for a bit at least, we still have like 6 episodes to go...)

seokryu's fam still doesn't get a free pass though - still on my "i'm watching you" list

i really went from despising hyeonjun to feeling bad for him in like... two episodes. it really felt like a right person wrong time situation, and i'm glad they both got a solid goodbye like that.

really going to give me a cute seunghyo's parents moment last episode and then this??? they just need to TALK

i (morbidly) like that yeondu's mother passed away bc at least no mother returning arc! but also while the last two episodes were AMAZING in terms of moeum/danho this was a bit of a step back lol - like what was that kiss

with that said, until further notice, i'm really just watching this for moeum and danho (and yeondu!!).

and finally - WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO PREVIEW FOR THE NEXT EPISODE???

getting a lot of wandee goodday posts on Instagram (love how my phone is spying on me lol)

… and like there’s one about how yoryak’s actor (great) is older than wandee’s (inn)

and i want to say that — given that yoryak is supposed to be younger — they’re both doing a great job portraying that difference in the series because I was actually surprised great was older. it felt so believable that yak was younger than wandee!
