Abandoned Migrant Clothing: Old Military Highway, Rio Grande Valley by Bredt Bredthauer

This photograph is part of a series Bredt Bredthauer made during the three months he spent walking and photographing the border between Texas and Mexico. Meet the Gallerist

Christy S. Wood at LeMieux Galleries, New Orleans Tuesday, August 4th, 2020 7PM-EST / 4PM-PST

Located in Arts District New Orleans, LeMieux Galleries has brought together "seasoned collectors and new art enthusiasts with artists who are committed to their vision" since 1983. This summer, Gallerist Christy S. Wood is celebrating her 20th year at the gallery (and five years as owner) with an exhibition of artists she has worked with over the last two decades. Wood will lead a tour of collage artists in the "Family" exhibition. Marcy Lally sculpts using an array of animal skulls and hand-crafted ceramic clay flowers. These works of art suggest ephemeral beauty and the cyclical aspects of nature. The event is free and open to everybody.
