Dick's Robin years are so important to me. Those ten-ish years of just him and Bruce in the Manor and on the field are a gold mine. The inside jokes, near-deaths, all-nighters, galas, people they shit-talked together, arguments, Dick growing from boy to man in front of Bruce's eyes... just the two of them. Every Robin who came after heard little bits and snippets of The Lore but only Dick and Bruce carry the memory of everything that happened in those years. It drives me crazy.
