I am normally comfortably outspoken in the fandoms I take part in but I gotta admit that entering dc fan spaces has given me such an inferiority complex lmao. I read comics, sure, but 1) I tend to mostly reread the stuff I like ad nauseam, and 2) I’m nowhere near as knowledgeable as many on here and sometimes I just think wow maybe it’s not my turn to talk

like idk I just think that if I spent several years with a man who took care of me in the wake of one of my worst traumas and most of the people I met who were against him were A) criminals who want him dead B) social workers who want to rip me away from him or C) my friends who mock me for being loyal to him, I would probably not be very receptive to criticism either
