I started taking Lyrica a couple of months ago. It's been an amazing drug for me in many ways. The only side effect that I get from it are these semi-manic bursts of energy where I tackle 5 or 6 different projects at once like a superhero. All the bonuses of Mania with none of the downfalls.
Yesterday I had one of those manic bursts. Productivity was accomplished. I hung a magnetic board that has been sitting in my room for two years, walked the dog, worked on our slow cooker dinner, made phone calls, and wrote emails and made progress on the paper I've been procrastinating on all in a span of about 2 hours.
I got distracted by various emergencies as I was leaving the house though, and it wasn't until I got to my doctors office that I realized I was wearing the wrong shoes. Ones that look similar to my shoes but are much older and less comfortable.
Since arriving home last night, and while I've been home tonight I've been up and down the apartment looking for my shoes, only they are nowhere to be found. Others have looked too and they are completely gone. The only explanation that I have is that Lyrica stole my shoes.
