Antony Mous went to his favorite study spot in the park, thinking he wouldn’t be out for long. He studied so hard, he didn’t realize he had fallen asleep and, the next thing he knew, it was dark out and the street lamps were on.

“Ah man, what time is it?” he asked himself as he got up. It would be no problem getting out because, even though most of the park was blackened, he knew the ways in and out well enough. However, as the silverette made his way through, he saw something he didn’t see before. In the shadows were what looked like tiny silhouettes at play. Being a curious Anonymous, he couldn’t help but take a closer look until…wait, were those scales?

Oldest traces of life on Earth found in Quebec, dating back roughly 3.8 billion years

A team of international scientists has found the oldest record of life on Earth in Northern Quebec, dating back at least 3.8 billion years.

Les structures présentes dans des roches de Nuvvuagittuq, situé sur la côte est de la baie d'Hudson, laissent à penser qu'il s'agit de micro-organismes fossilisés qui dateraient d'au moins 3,8 milliards d'années, ou plus probablement de 4,3 milliards d'années

Halloween with Manitoba and Co

@onlymiddleground Halloween wasn’t something Matt celebrated a lot. Being isolated and in the middle of no where, people tended to not get close enough to trick or treat, so he rarely bothered with it. This year, however, he had bought a rather large stash of assorted lollies which filled three large plastic jack o lanterns that Ilan had shown to him by a slightly shivering naga. “I bought a whole bunch of stuff for the kids. I was planning on doing something resembling trick or treating with them, but since I can only move slightly faster than a very athletic sloth that isn’t happening.”

Samuel grimaced as he made the attempt to sit up, his hand covering the fresh hole in his shoulder. Even through the red shirt, one could still clearly see the blood. His head was spinning, and the shot had been just a little to close to his heart for comfort. Not that he hadn’t had worse, but never the less. 

Regardless, he shot a glance to Ilan, “Well, he’s dead, ain’t he?” he was referring to the idiot who’d attempted to shoot Ilan. Even more stupid, in an open carry state like Texas. 

It was when the gunman had pulled the weapon on Ilan that Samuel had simultaneously moved Ilan out of the way and pulled his own. Unfortunitly, they’d shot at the same time, resulting in both hitting the ground. One, a little more unfortunate than the other.

Opening the door with a huge grin Vlad hugged his dad. “Oh my god! You surprised me, how are you?” Ushering Ilan inside he trotted off to get some drinks. “I missed you.”

MB (memory loss and possible AU idea). it had been a few days since the accident that had nearly taken the life of the man. making it appear like Francis had truly died and even holding a fake funeral for the hitman Ilan now sat in the chair of Francis's hospital room, waiting for the sleeping man to wake up

Sleeping soundly the man woke slowly moaning. “Where am I?” Sitting up only to get a sudden dizzy spell he lay back down. “Ugh.. what happened... I feel like shit.” Gazing over to Ilan the man looked confused. “Who are you?”
