Everyone remember thst night clearly , the night were you got shot by latrelle and didnt make it , when Cesar told you he loved you for the first time , now Cesar could only think about how he never got to give you the last kiss and make things official beetween you two , it was killing him inside that he was never going to see you smile again or laugh like he loved so much , how everytime he passed by your house he would saw your parents crying in your room in your bed when the window was open , he missed you more that he ever thought he would and he couldnt handle that pain it was too much for him to bare and the crew knew it like damn even Oscar knew it but Cesar didnt let nobody come close to him or seeing him crying.
Cesar was walking alone to school a routine that seemed normal to him now with his eadphones in his ears and head bow down feeling numb to the pain he was feeling that day , in the end of the street he saw his friends and immediatly the crew ran to him being goofys to make him smile but Ruby looked at him and told all of them to stop and just gave a hug to Cesar tight has he could and walked by his side quiet respecting the state of spirit of his best friend.

Cesar broke down in tears infront of his friends for the first time and all of them came to give a big hug letting him cry all his pain and anger knowing for how long he was holding on those emotions inside. "Jamal." you said snickering as Jamal was dancing while sitting on his towel and shouting at his phone doing a Instagram Live.
Jamal stopped and he quickly went over and sat next to you on your towel.
"We have the most beautiful and good-looking Y/N over here looking like a snack in her fabulous bikini." said Jamal as he showed you and him in the camera for his live. He looked and winked at you which made you giggle.
"Hey! Stop flirting with my reina and get out of my spot." said Spooky with two drinks in both of his hands behind you and Jamal. Jamal quickly got up and went back to his towel next to Ruby.
"Spooky, was that necessary?" you asked with a smile as Spooky sat down next to you and handed over your drink.
"Oh course it was, mami. He was over here flirting with you in front of my face." said Spooky upset, making you giggle by his little jealousy. .
"He was just doing a Instagram Live for his followers. Chill out. We've been dating since freshman year of high school. Ain't nobody going to take me away from you." you said as you caress his check while looking at him with a soft smile.

Cesar dropped his surfboard in the sand beside you and started to run after Monse.
You lean back up and you start to take off your cover-up to go swimming with your boyfriend, for the first time today.

You turned your head to the right to see Ruby walking up to you with a plastic bag.

A few minutes later, Jasmine sat up and asked Monse to sunscreen her back.

A moment later, the kid threw up on Jasmine's back. Everybody in the group gets up and away from Jasmine in shock by what just happened..
"What the h*ll?! What is that?! It's so warm!" shouted Jasmine, scared as she quickly got up and tried to turn to see what's on her back.
"Oh my god! It's in the ocean!" shouted Jamal from the edge of the shore and everybody on the beach starts to get up and run away.
Spooky quickly picks you up in bridal style and races off leaving the core four and Jasmine on the beach.
"Spooky! Where are you going?!" shouted Cesar at his brother with you in his arms.
"¡Dejando! Eso nunca le pasará a mi reina." shouted Spooky. You were surprised at first but smiled at him at the thought as he quickly ran all the way to his car and slowly put you down.
"Spooky." you said as you looked at him with a smile and leaned your head to the side as you looked at him.
"Yes, my reina?" asked Spooky as he looked at you. He grabbed both of his hands and intercepted it with his.
"You didn't have to pick me up in bridal style and take me away from the little accident." you said.

After the kiss, Spooky opens his passenger door and signals you to go in.

"Okay, people! Hurry in! We need to start going over this play!” shouted the English teacher, Mr. Miller in the community theater after school.
The core four and Jasmine sat down next to each other with other students in their grade along with freshmen in a circle of chairs with Mr. Miller in front to see the whole class.
"Everyone, everybody you see in this circle is part of Freeridge's first annual play, "Hamilton"!" said Mr. Miller and everybody clapped.
"This will be a little musical so some parts were based off of people who's in choir with Ms. Grande. Now, do we have our lead actress, “Eliza” here?" Mr. Miller asked.
Students start to turn and start to chatter between each other to figure it out.

You came in jogging tiredly with sweat coming down your face, your script in your hand, and your backpack on your back. You just came from your house because you have to buy groceries from the store instead of getting on the bus to here.
"I'm-I'm here! I'm here! I'm-"
You screamed and found yourself on the ground hurt because you tripped over your foot. Some freshmen laughed at your fall.
"Y/N!" shouted Ruby and he quickly got up from his seat and jogs up to you. You slowly get up from the ground until Ruby grabs your right hand and helps you the rest of the way up.
"Thanks, Ruby. I appreciate it." you said. looking at him with a small smile.
"No problem, Eliza." said Ruby with a grin, making you giggle a bit as you grab your script from his hand.
"Now, that both of our main leads are here, let's start reading our script, shall we?" said Mr. Miller and you and Ruby walked on the stage and sat next to each other.

"Good job, everyone! That includes practice today. We will be back here on Thursday to start setting up the scenes for the play. Everyone is free to go now." said Mr. Miller and everyone started to get up and started leaving.
You close your script hard because you were so glad you were glad for the day. You quickly got up and left out of the theater.
You took out your skateboard you have in your backpack and put it on the ground. You got on and started to roll down the sidewalk to get home until you heard your name.
You stop rolling and turn around. Your heart skipped a beat to see Ruby coming up to you with a smile with his backpack on his back.
"Let me take you home." said Ruby as he walks up to you.
"Awe, you don't have to. My house is literally around the corner." you lied, hoping Ruby would leave. You don't want Ruby to find out where you live.
"But I want to. I like you, Y/N. You're going to ignore what’s going on between us? I'm not going to act like I don't." said Ruby looking into your eyes confessing. He starts to get even closer to you but you backed away from him.
"I like you too but I'm just not in the right mindset to date right now. Too many things are going around in my life. I gotta go, bye!" you said and you quickly swipe your right foot a couple of times as you start to roll faster and away from him.
You look back to see Ruby with a puzzled face, making your heart ache and feeling regret. As much you want him to take you home, you can't because Latrelle is your cousin and currently living with you temporarily.
You hate that he was your cousin. “He’s hiding," he says. He always brings girls over for his pleasure, smoking all over the place, and leaving trash all over the house.
He is nothing worse than your father. An alcoholic with no job. Who's just let Latrelle with no questions about why he's hiding.
How are you still living in your house? All you. You are always working, cleaning, paying bills, while all going to high school.
You are still trying to figure out how you manage to do this while having average grades. You were glad makeup exists because you always have to put on makeup everyday to hide your dark circles from the late nights you work.
Sooner or later, you have to tell him but you haven't because Ruby is just turning back into himself. This play was a big step for him to become himself again because he loves planning and wants to make everything perfect.
You saw how Ruby got back to himself through your eyes by doing all of these pain-relief medicines, therapy, and doing fun activities with you and the rest of the gang like regular teenagers.
You're so happy to see him grow from his experience and you don't want him to relive his memory because of you. You just can't.
You entered your house with your skateboard underneath your right arm and you saw your dad knocked out on the couch with a whole bottle of alcohol in his right hand.
You rolled your eyes and you went into your room. You screamed to see Latrelle and his girlfriend of the week making out on your bed. Disgusting.
"Latrelle! What the h*ll?!" you shouted with a disgusted face. They quickly stopped and looked at you.
"This is the fifth time this happened, Latrelle! You got your own room, do you know that?!" you shouted angrily.
"Your room is the closest. We just in the moment." said Latrelle with a smirk and leaned over to his girl. He kissed her slowly as she started to go down his body about to reach his pants. You have to stop this now!

You were mad now and you were willing to do anything illegal because of what Latrelle and your dad did today.
Maria grabs her purse from your floor and leaves the house angrily. You walked over to your bed and grabbed a shirt that wasn't yours.
"This hyna walked out in her bra." you said while looking at her shirt in her hand. You dropped it to the floor in disgust.
"Where do you think you're going, Latrelle?" you asked seriously. You turn around to see Latrelle trying to sneak out of your room.
"What Y/N? I need to go." said Latrelle.
"Oh no! You're going to stay here and clean up this house! I have gotten food, made dinner, working multiple jobs just to keep us underneath a roof! You have done absolutely nothing but bring girls and smoke ever since you moved in here! If you're going to stay, you should do something that would help in this household!" you yelled at him.
You have enough dealing with this every single day with him and your father. It makes you feel lonely and angry because they don't do anything. You felt like a grown woman when you should be enjoying your last years of a teenager.
"No! Let me be! You're just here to give us anything we want! We own this place! You can't do anything about it because you're just a puta!" yelled Latrelle at you furiously.
You looked at him with wide eyes as you were breathing heavily. You don't see your cousin anymore in him. You see a monster. A horrible monster ready to hurt you at any moment. Along with your father.
You felt tears coming through your eyes. You were trying not to break but it's not working at all, it was making it worse.
Latrelle grunts and walks out of the door of the house. A few moments later, you screamed furiously and tears started to flow down your tears heavily.
You fall down to the floor of your bedroom and just cry as you feel your eyes turning red. You couldn't take this no more. You try so hard to be strong but it's so hard without your mom here without you.

An hour later, you opened your eyes and you found yourself on the floor. You slowly sit up and grab your phone that was a few feet from you.
You look at the time and you see a few missed calls from Ruby. You slowly smile. It seems like Ruby is the only person right now that would call you this late at night.
A thought came into your mind and you slowly got up from the floor. You wipe your nose with a tissue and eyes as you look in your full mirror.
You see your red eyes almost returning to normal with your mascara running down your cheek. You wipe off your face and start doing small and natural makeup on your face.
You stopped to see your scars and bruises you got from your dad on your arms that are slowly healing and you felt your heart breaking again. You quickly grab your purse with your phone and leave the house.

A few minutes later, you found yourself in front of Ruby's house. You don't know why.
You slowly walked up to his door and hesitated until you rang his doorbell.
A few moments later, the door opened and my heart skipped a beat to see Ruby.
"Y/N?!" said Ruby, shocked that you were here at this hour.
"Hi Ruby." you said shyly and you look down to the ground.
"Hurry, come in," said Ruby, opening up the door wider and entering his house. He locked the door.
"What are you doing here at this hour? You know what happens after eleven?" asked Ruby, looking at you concerned and scared because he didn't want anything happening to you.
He looked into your eyes and you saw you were upset, making his eyes soften.
"Y/N...what's wrong? Did something happen? Is there someone I have to beat up?" asked Ruby and you chuckled underneath your breath.
"Ruby, you can't beat up anybody." you said as you looked at him.
"I'll become The Rock if anybody is messing with you." said Ruby and you chuckled again at his silliness. He always knows how to cheer you up without trying.
"But seriously, what's wrong. You came here this late at night. You should stay here for the night since you're here for your safety." said Ruby and he quickly went into another room in his house.
"Ruby, that's not necessary! I'm fine! I'm going to call-"
Your heart melted as Ruby came back into the living room with pillows, covers, pj's, slippers, and soft socks.
"Awe, Ruby. Wait, why are you here alone? I don't think you're completely better." you said being concerned to Ruby to ignore your situation right now.
"I'm not alone. Abuela's here but she fell asleep. My family is at a graduation ceremony for the twins for passing kindergarten up in Brentwood." said Ruby as he sat up a comfortable place for you on the main couch in the living room.
"Oh, okay. That's good. I'm proud of you. You're becoming better." you said and Ruby looks at you happily.
"Thanks Y/N. I'm glad you were here by my side all that time. I would've done the same for you." said Ruby and you felt a blush gaining on your cheeks. You look down so Ruby doesn't see them.
"There we go. Let me take that for you. Here, sit down." said Ruby and you look backed up and walk over to the couch to sit down. Ruby took your purse out of your hand.
"I'm going to inform your dad that you're here, okay?" asked Ruby, taking your phone from your purse and going to your messages.
"No!" you shouted with a scare to your voice, causing Ruby to look at you shocked.
"Please don't tell him. I, um..." you said and you felt tears coming down your face again. Not again.
"Y/N.'' said Ruby, concerned and quickly putting your purse and phone on the coffee table in front of the couch. He sits next to you and looks at you concerned.
"Come down princesa. What's going on? Please. You're scaring me." said Ruby and tears started to fall down slowly.
You couldn't hold it in any more. Everything that has been going on for you for the last few months you held up in your mind was just all coming out in tears tonight.
You have to tell him now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Now. There's no way to escape. You were going to lose Ruby tonight.
"Ru-ru-Ruby?" you stuttered as Ruby was wiping your tears and the light mascara on your face that was running on your face off with his mom's makeup wipes.
You look into his eyes deeply for the first time. Your heart skipped to see his eyes soft and full of concern.
You felt such a connection. Ruby was feeling it too and you have no idea. Your heart aches that you won't be able to see into his eyes again once you tell him.
"I-I-I ha-have to tell you something. Something I've been ke-keeping for m-m-months." you stuttered and Ruby's eyes slightly widened at your statement.
Ruby slowly nodded and you did a deep breath. Here we go.
You told him everything. From the jobs, Latrelle being your cousin, your alcoholic father, both of them abusing you. Every moment.
You see Ruby's face become less and less full of expression and it just breaks your heart inside into a million pieces.
"I'm sorry. I don't know why I said all of that. I'm okay now." you said and you turn away from Ruby and face your body the other way to avoid looking at him.
Ruby didn't say anything. He was trying to process anything. He has so many emotions that he doesn't know what to express first.
He looks at you faced away and tries to figure out what to say but couldn't think of anything.
"I understand if you don't like me no more. Don't worry. I'm going to quit the play and you don't have to see me again." you said and you felt movement from Ruby.
You felt a hand connecting to your left hand and you looked down at it. You follow where that hand connects and it leads to Ruby.
Without saying a word, Ruby slowly pulls on your hand, making your body facing him. Ruby continues on pulling on your hand and puts his hand on your waist.
You look up at him again and Ruby wraps you with his arms.
Holding you was the only thing Ruby could come up with in response to what you just told him. He was furious, upset, disappointed, disgusted and many more emotions.
He hates that all of this happened to you and nobody didn't notice it. Not even him, making him disappointed in himself.
Ruby just holds you. Tight. On the couch in his living room. Both of you didn't talk at all.
Eventually, you fall asleep and Ruby looks at you deeply and starts to stare at your face features.
He caresses your face softly as you sleep on his chest like it was a pillow. He slowly gives you a kiss on your forehead, causing you to gain a small smile during your sleep.
"I'm going to make this right, hermosa. You’ll see next morning." said Ruby as he caressed your hair with his fingers.

A few hours later, you woke up and you looked around to see you were in a whole different room. You sat up quickly but calmed down once you realized you were in Ruby's room.
You turned to the other side of the room to see Ruby was not there. You grab your phone that was next to you on the bed table and saw a post-it note on it.
"My mom called you off of school today. Got some news for you outside this room. Put on the outfit hanging on the hook of the door. Take your time, maravillosa. -Ruby"
You looked at the door and your eyes widened to see there was an actual outfit hanging on the door. You get up and you start getting ready.

You did a final layer of lip gloss and you stepped back from your outfit. You were wearing a rainbow tie-dye t-shirt with jean shorts, golden checkered vans with your hair in a high ponytail and silver jewelry.
You opened the door to exit the bedroom with your phone. You jumped to see Ruby sitting on the floor in the hallway looking at you with a grin.
"Hola hermosa." said Ruby, making you smile.
"Hi Ruby. Um...what's the good news?" you asked remembering the post-it note on your phone earlier.
Ruby gets up and grabs your hand. He pulls it making you follow him. A moment later, you saw the rest of the core four and Jasmine along with Ruby's family and Monse's dad sitting in the living room.
They all turned to you and Ruby entering with happy faces.
"What is going on?" you asked with a shy smile as you and Ruby sit next to each other on another available couch in the living room.
Jamal turns on the TV and turns it to the news. Everybody turns their attention to the TV.
After the news came off a few minutes later, you stood up surprised.
"So, my father and Latrelle are arrested?" you asked calmly and everybody in the room quickly nodded.
"That means..."
"You're free, Y/N." said Ruby standing up and looking at you.
"Wait, really?" you asked and everybody started to cheer and celebrate. You started to cry again.
"Princesa, there's no need to cry." said Ruby as he caressed your face to wipe the small tears away.
"These are happy tears. I just feel revived." you said happily as you looked at Ruby. You felt happy in your life right now and it was honestly scaring you a bit because life can turn this left real quick in a few seconds.
"Wait, then where am I going to live? I can't live in a house by myself. I'm sixteen." you said.
"You will be moving into my house. Monse told me what was going on and I immediately said yes because Monse needs a girl friend to talk to." said Monse's dad.
"Thank you so much." you said happily and you quickly went over and hugged Monse and her dad.
"How did all this happen?" you asked curiously and everybody turns over to Ruby with weird grins on their faces.
"Y'all snitches." said Ruby and everybody laughed.
"Ruby..." you said softly as you went back over to him.
"Did you really do this for me?" you asked and Ruby hesitated to your question and nodded. It was true.
"I don't know how to repay you. You're been the sweetest and supportive guy I've ever had in my life and making sure I'm okay." you said. You met every word.
"Oh course, Y/N. I handle things for you. I don't want you to go through anything like that again." said Ruby and you hugged him tight. Ruby hugged you back quickly.
"Let's go celebrate!" said Abuela and everybody cheered as they started walking out of the door leaving you and Ruby, the last two people in the house.
"Wait." you said stopping him from walking out of the door.
"What is it, Y/N?" asked Ruby, looking at you deeply. Your heart skips a beat by what you are about to say.
"I know I keep on rejecting you multiple times for multiple reasons and I'm so sorry for that. Now that my life is better now, I was wondering if we can-"
Ruby kisses you passionately and you quickly kiss him back. You were dreaming for this moment and it was finally happening. You couldn't believe it.
Both of you ended the kiss and looked at each other with soft eyes.
"Y/N, we're together. And nobody is going to break us." said Ruby and your heart melted in happiness.
You and Ruby did a quick kiss and walked out of his house. You stayed with your knight in shiny armor forever.
"Remember when Jamal jumped into that pool when we were trying to find the money?" asked Ruby, reminding the group. The core five group and you laughed as Jamal looked at them with a glare.
It was a regular Friday and you were at Ruby's house with the gang hanging out together while watching a Netflix show.
"Are y'all done? I'm right here!" said Jamal with his arms crossed against his chest with an upset face.
Olivia got up and walked over to sit next to you on the two seat coach in the living room. You look up from your phone to see her.
"Hey Olivia. What's up?" you asked with a smile.
"What's going on with you and Spooky?" asked Olivia and you giggle and start to blush a little bit because you start to think about him.
"Nothing." you said while looking away.
"Yes, there is! Look at you! Spooky taking you home everyday from school, you smiling at his texts, being all close and sitting next to each other at parties. Don't act like nothing is going on!" said Olivia and you giggled again.
"We're just friends. That's all." you said and your phone lit up with a notification of a text. Olivia looked down at your phone in your hand to see it was a message from him.
Olivia looked back at you with a smirk. "Are you going to answer that?"
"No." you said and looked to the floor away from your phone.
Olivia looks at you with a smirk on her face and walks away to go sit next to Ruby on another couch. You check to see if her eyes were on the TV again before texting Spooky back.
Right before you send your text, somebody came rushing into Ruby's house and shutting the door loud along with locking it.
"Hey! What you do-"
Ruby stops to see who it was. Everybody's eyes widened except you because you weren't looking.
You turned your head a moment later and gasped to see Spooky with his resting furious face while breathing heavily.
"Have anyone seen Cesar?" asked Spooky and the bathroom door opened and everyone turned their head to see Cesar walking out of the bathroom.
"Spooky?" asked Cesar and Spooky went over to him.
"We got to stay here. They shut the whole block down again." said Spooky and everybody groaned in annoyance except him.
"You can't be serious right now." said Cesar and sirens echoed into the house and red and blue lights shine through the windows of Ruby's house.
"I'm just glad you're safe." said Spooky and he turns back around to you and the gang.
"How long are we in here?" asked Monse.
"Who knows. We are going to be here for a while." said Cesar as he walked back to Monse and put his left arm around her shoulder.
You looked at Cesar and Monse as they started to get cozy with each other. You turn your head to see Spooky looking at you.
You turned away making him sigh and sat down at the dining table.
"At least it isn't how it was two years ago. We got food in the house." said Ruby and he got up and went into the kitchen.
Ruby turns on the light and his eyes widened to see Jamal eating chips
"You don't have any food left." said Jamal and he ate the last chip in the bag in front of Ruby.
"JAMAL!" shouted everybody angrily expect for Spooky
Jamal did a shy smile and put his hands up in defense looking at Ruby with the confused look acting like he didn't eat the least amount of food in the house.

Two hours later of watching movies, you and the gang went over to the table to play a game.
"Wow. This is so deja-vu isn't it?" you said as Monse and Ruby set up candles on the table.
"Seems like it. Let's play kiss, marry, kill." said Olivia and everybody agreed.
Spooky came out of the bathroom and leaned against the wall looking at you and the gang at the dining table.
"Sure. I'll play." said Spooky and slowly moved his head to see everybody including you who was sitting at the table glancing at him scared what he was going to say.
"Y/N, can you meet me in the bathroom?" asked Oscar and the core five turned to you while your eyes widened in shock.
You slowly nodded and Spooky gave you a wink and left to go into the bathroom.
"Well Y/N, it was nice knowing you." said Ruby and you looked at him crazy.
"Ruby!" said Olivia as she looked at Ruby upset.
"What? I barely made it out alive when I talked to him about Cesar." said Ruby reminding the group.
"Guys, I don't know about this." you said nervously
"Y/N, don't worry. It's Spooky. The same dude you're texting all the time." said Olivia.
"Wait! You’re been texting Spooky?! asked Monse shocked.
"Not the point! Y/N, you'll be fine. We're in here so go on." said Olivia and you got up and went into the bathroom to see him.
Spooky shove his head to the left making you get his signal. You shut the door behind you.
Spooky looks down and slowly starts to walk up to you. You start to get nervous once he stops in front of you.
"Wanna get out of here?" asked Oscar and your eyes widened.
"Um...the block is still on lockdown." you said while giving him a crazy face.
Spooky bends down to your height and starts to look straight into your eyes. Your heart skipped a beat by how close he was to you.
You felt heat coming on your face fast as Spooky tilted his head a little bit to the right and continued to stare into your eyes.
"How about we go into one of these rooms and chill out while asking each other questions?" you asked nervously to stop this tension between both of you.
Spooky looked at you up and down and stared into your eyes for another moment until he backed up from you and nodded.
You sighed in relief and turned around to walk into Ruby's room with him following right behind you.
You sat on one of the beds once you came in while Spooky sat on the other bed after he closed the door behind him.
It was quiet between you two for a few moments. You look to him to see him staring deep into your soul.
"You stare a lot, don't you?" you asked and Spooky looked away making you giggle a bit.
"Yo, what's so funny?" said Oscar aggressively.
"Yo, chill. I think it's cute." you said giggling and you got up and walked over to him.
Spooky looks up to you to see your hands holding his. He looked down at the hands and looked back at you with a confused look a moment later.
Both of you were looking deep into each other's eyes while holding hands in the middle of Ruby's room standing up.
"I have a question for you...why are you interested in me?" you asked and Spooky turned away from you for a moment and looked back.
"I'll show you." said Spooky as he let go of your hands and put his hands on your wrist.
He starts to move down to your butt slowly until you stop him by grabbing his hands again with yours.
"Oscar." you said looking at him seriously and he looked down and gave you a look you never saw before. You couldn't understand what emotion he was expressing at the moment.
"Wanna know why? You get me. You understand me inside and out. Nobody don't understand me like you do." confessed Spooky making you gain a red blush while looking down with your head.
Spooky lifts your head back again to look at him again.
"I mean every single word." Spooky said softly and you slowly closed your eyes and started to lean in. He quickly closed the distance with a kiss.
The kiss was sweet and soft until it started to get passionate and rough. He picks you up and you giggle as Spooky pushes you against the wall and kisses you again passionately.
"YALL BETTER NOT DOING IT IN MY ROOM YOU PUTAS!" shouted Ruby behind his room door and both of you stopped kissing and started laughing.
Spooky dropped you softly, you were standing in front of him once again.
"Y/N, te gustaría ser mi novia?" asked Spooky with a smile.
"Sí, Spooky." you said and he kissed you again.
A minute later, you and Spooky get on one of the beds in Ruby's room and get into each other's arms. Both of you talked about random things until you fell asleep in his arms as the lockdown was coming to an end.

"Y/N!" shouted your younger sister, Monse in front of you annoyed.
Monse was shouting out your name for the past two minutes, trying to get your attention but you weren't answering.
You continue to write lyrics on your towel underneath an umbrella while listening to your beat you made through your headphones.
Music is the only thing that understands and helps you get through community college and all of the negative comments about you.
Where's the negative comments coming from? People usually make small comments of your weight. You're a plus - size girl.
At certain times, some comments could ruin your day but you don't let it in your head too much.
Monse growled in anger and took off your headphones quickly. You look up at her crazy.
"Monse!"
"Come on and have fun with us. It's a good day to be out here on the beach. Spooky's here..." said Monse grinning, knowing that you like him.
You hit Monse in her left arm and she faked being in pain with no sound coming out.
"I know that! We're just friends. Also, he wouldn't like a girl like me. Nobody don't like girls my size." you said as you start to get sad again.
You tried to grab your headphones back but failed. Instead, you got a hit from Monse which actually hurt you.
"Monse!" you shouted while grabbing your right arm with your left hand at the spot where she hit you at.
"What did I tell you about talking yourself down! You're so beautiful! Anybody is blind if they don't see it!" said Monse.
"Okay, sure. Now, can you hand me my headphones?" you asked after you got up from your towel and have your hand out to her.
"Y/N! Sweetie, what are you doing?! Your very fine a*s Spooky over there and you're not in your good-looking swimsuit seducing him!"
"Jasmine." you and Monse said in sync looking at her with a dirty look.

"I'm not used to people taking my clothes off of me." you said while taking off her hands off of your shirt slowly.
"Oh sorry," said Jasmine and she put her drink down next to her beach chair and started going back to the guys in the ocean having fun "don't be afraid Y/N! You got this!"
You nodded softly and you took a deep breath as you grabbed the bottom of your shirt but stopped in fear.
"You're beautiful." said Monse and you felt your mouth curving into a smile.
"Thanks. You're beautiful too." you commented back and both of you did a side hug.
Monse smiles at you and she turns around to jog back to her group of friends.
You took another deep breath again and grip the bottom of your shirt again with both of your hands.

You quickly looked up and you felt a blush crept on your face to see who called you.
It was Spooky who was looking at you with a smile plastered on his face. He was shirtless in his swim shorts with the sun beautifully shining on him.
Your jaw fell a bit at the sight of him. He was glowing. F*cking glowing. Making his muscles and abs more defined than it was.
Your face went emotionless not knowing what to do or say. This is definitely not helping at the moment.
Spooky grinned at you and looked down to the water because of the sight of you. It was hard to control himself by the way you were looking at him.
"Um, you coming?" shouted Spooky with his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes narrowed to not get blind by the sun while looking at you.
You shake your head to get back into reality and quickly nod your head in response. Spooky nodded and turned back to Cesar's friends.
"You got this." you said to yourself grabbing your end of your shirt again. You took a deep breath and you started taking off your clothes.

"Looking good Y/N! I see you! I see you." said Jasmine with a beam on her face as she saw you entering the ocean for the first time today.
You were wearing a F/C one piece swimsuit that has a skirt to cover your bottom and was decorated in gold designs.
"Thanks. Um, where's Spooky?" you asked the group of friends while trying to get used to the cold ocean.
A moment later, you felt ice water fall on your head rushed on your body. You close your eyes to protect them as water is poured on you.
You open your eyes again to see you drenched in cold water. You start shivering only for a few seconds because it was super warm outside.
You shake some extra water that was dripping on you from your hands into the ocean. You look up to see the friend group with their eyes widened and jaws dropped.
You immediately slapped a fake smile and you started to twitch your smile and your finger. The young teenagers start to be afraid as you start to twitch your head to the right knowing you were full of rage.
"I DIDN'T DO IT!" shouted Jamal and put his hands up in defense. The rest of the friend group look at him with a stupid faces.
"What? I'm making my statement. Making sure nobody don't blame me like y'all always do!" shouted Jamal and Monse rolled her eyes at him.
You turn around very slowly with your fake smile to see your only guy friend, Spooky with a huge stupid grin on his face with a blue bucket in front of him.
"Y/N-"
"SPOOKY!" you yelled interrupting Ruby's concern. You growled furiously and you went full on hunter mode. Spooky quickly put the bucket over your head and started to swim away.
You screamed as you quickly took the bucket off of your head and threw it behind you not caring where it landed. You continue swimming to catch up to Spooky to kill him.
"HEY!"
Jasmine, Monse, Ruby, and Cesar follow the sound of the voice to see Jamal's head covered by the blue bucket. It landed on him unnaturally.
The group started to laugh hard as Jamal crossed his arms against his chest upset underneath the bucket.
"How inconvenient is that?" said Ruby as he was laughing.
"It's not funny!"
"Oh, it is." said Cesar laughing and he puts his left hand on Jamal's right shoulder with a grin on his face.
Jamal turns to Cesar and he quickly puts the bucket on his head. Jamal starts to laugh at him.
Cesar quickly took off the bucket, threw it behind him, and tackled Jamal into the water causing a play fight between them.
Ruby continued to laugh at his guy friends until he saw blue in front of him unexpectedly.
"This did not happen." said Ruby with his right point finger pointing at the bucket on his head.
"Okay, babe. You know I'll still date you even if you're wearing a bucket." said Jasmine and she quickly grabbed and hugged him tight.
"Jasmine! Let go!" shouted Ruby in annoyance while trying to wiggle out of her arms, causing the bucket to fall off his head and into the water.
"Spooky! Come back here!" you shouted angrily at him a few feet away from you.
"Come get me, babygirl." said Spooky and he turned back and winked with a smirk on his face. It made you forget what you were doing at the moment.
Spooky starts to swim away again and you quickly start swimming again to catch up to him. A few moments later, you felt yourself getting lower, and lower into the ocean.
"Spooky! Ah! Help!" you shouted quickly as ocean waters started to move a bit too quickly for you and you felt no ground to your feet.
"Spoo-"
You went underwater and you felt yourself sinking. You try to swim up but you feel your weight pulling you down faster.
Your eyes widened and felt your eyes starting to close completely. You try to move upwards again but your eyes completely shut. Was this your last moment of life?

"Y/N! Y/N! Wake up!"
You slowly opened your eyes and you saw your worried sister, her friends, and for the first time ever, a worried Spooky.
You start to lean up but everybody around you starts to talk over each other saying to lay back down so you did.
"What happened?" you asked while bringing your right hand on top of your forehead to get your mind waking up again. You jumped a bit when you felt a cold ice pack put on top of your forehead.
"You almost drowned. Luckily, Spooky was there to save you." said Ruby and you turn your head to Spooky on your right looking back at you.
"Um, I'll stay here with her. To make sure nothing happens," said Spooky. He grabs his dry shorts, pulls out some money, and puts it in Cesar's hand. "go get some food. Bring something back for us."
"Okay." said Cesar and Monse leans down to you and starts to caress your cheek "I'm glad you're okay. I love you."
"I love you too." you said and the core five got up and started walking to find something to eat.
"You gonna tell me where you got that money from?" you asked, looking at Spooky stupidly and he started to laugh.
"What did I tell you, mami? It's none of your business." said Spooky and you roll your eyes.
"Anyways, I'm sorry if I was so heavy to save. You didn't have to." you said as your smile starts to fade and negative thoughts start to flow through your head again.
"You weren't. It's no problem. I can carry you anywhere if you want." said Spooky and you look at him with a twisted face.
Your eyes start to flow down to his body to see his abs and muscles that were still defined and water dripping after being out of the water. You shake your head mentality to get back to reality again.
"Yeah, sure you can." you said and you start to laugh a bit knowing he can't. A few moments later, you screamed as you felt yourself being lifted in the air by Spooky.
"Put me down." you said with a pout face with your arms crossed against your chest. Spooky was currently carrying you in maiden style.
"I don't want to, I like this position you are in. In my arms." said Spooky and he scans up and down your body until his eyes meet yours again.
You did a shy laugh as you looked away from him. You didn't want him to see the blush that was forming on your face.
"Hola hermoso."
You and Spooky looked up to see a good-looking girl with a great body in a two piece gold bikini. Spooky put you down softly and both of you look at the girl with weird faces.
"When you're done talking to that fatty, you should come over here and I'll change your life." said the girl and she blows a kiss at Spooky.
You felt your heart burning in jealousy and also breaking into million pieces. It still hurts you when people say things about your body. You just wanted to blow her head off.
"I'm not interested." said Spooky and he crosses his arms against his chest.
"Oh, come on. I know you're interested. I can tell. I got this amazing body that everybody would die for. Not this ugliness over here." said the girl walking closer to him and starts to touch his right arm muscles.
You couldn't take this no more. You almost die by drowning and now you're getting bullied again by another gorgeous girl for the guy you're interested in.
You started to cry hard, making Spooky move away from the girl quickly going over to you. He sees you grabbing your things quickly and putting on your overall clothes.
"Y/N! Wait!"
"No! Just be with that gorgeous thin model! You could care less about me!" you shouted and you quickly threw the ice pack in the sand. You start going to your car leaving before Spooky could chase after you.
You try to dry up your tears in the car but they keep on flowing down. You were done with every negative comment that every single person has said to you that made you worse and worse.
You know what you have to do now and it's the only way to calm you down and make you feel good about yourself.

An hour later, you sighed feeling numb as you walked back into your homemade studio in the backyard storage.
Once you got home, you immediately took a shower, changed into dry clothes, and went in there with no hesitation.
You couldn't believe what happened on the beach today. You don't even want to talk about it. Music was you escaping at the moment but today it was so bad, it wasn't working like it used to.
"Okay. Y/N, calm down. It's over." you said calming yourself and start eating F/F while drinking a small water in your homemade studio.
You were playing different beats that had no lyrics yet to choose what to record today while enjoying your snack break. A few beats later, you immediately got up with your eyes widened.
You quickly grab your pen and start a new page in your songwriting notebook as lyrics are just popping in your mind. You replay the beat and at a good time, you start writing your lyrics.

"Coming!" shouted Monse after hearing the front door knocked a couple of times. She opened the door and gasped to see Spooky's front of her.
"Hey. You mind telling me where Y/N is? I've tried contacting her for hours while going to her favorite places. She's not answering or at those places." asked Spooky.
Spooky been worrying about you for hours. He hates seeing you hurt especially when somebody says something about your weight.
It makes him want to hurt the woman. Obviously he couldn't hurt a woman so he just calls her a puta and walks away.
It took him a while to be friends with you. You were not easy to crack into and he completely understands it because people would become your friend to just break you down again.
It didn't take long before Spooky started to develop feelings for you. Spooky would sometimes flirt and you would never catch it at all which amuses him.
Now, he can't find you anywhere in Freeridge. He just hoped he would find you soon and didn't miss his chance.
"She's in the backyard. In her "homemade studio". said Monse while using her index fingers kinda annoyed.
"Can I see her?"
"No, you can not! You broke her today! Have you done enough! Y/N deserves better-"
Monse quickly turns around and puts her right hand on top of Jasmine's mouth to stop her talking. Now, she was regretting bringing Jasmine here to her house after the beach.
"I'll show you." said Monse with a fake smile on her face and opened the door wider as Spooky came in.
Monse slowly took her hand off of Jasmine's mouth and started to lead Spooky through her house to the backyard where you were.
Once he was outside again, he heard singing in the distance but it was muffled. He looked ahead to see what seemed like a storage room but lights were on.
"There she is. Please be careful with her words. You kinda know how my sister is. Anything bad happens, I'ma pull Jasmine out here." said Monse looking at Spooky with a serious face and her arms crossed against her chest.
Spooky nodded quickly and Monse hit his left shoulder a few times with her right hand for encouragement and walked back into the house.
Spooky took a deep breath and slowly opened the door. As he enters the room, he sees you with your back faced to him singing into the microphone with your headphones on.
You were in the middle of recording and Spooky grinned as he heard you singing. He never thought you could sing but you really could and sounded real good.
"You can sing, hermosa." said Spooky and you jumped in horror causing you to stop singing.
You wouldn't usually jump when recording and hearing Monse's voice. You hearing a deep males voice caused your fright. .
You slowly turned around and became blank seeing Spooky was here, in your homemade studio leaning against the doorway looking at you.
"How's it going?"
You grab a bat, the first thing that would probably help kick him out of your studio. You start charging at him with the bat in your hand about to swing
"Wait!," shouted Spooky with his hands up and out in front of him, looking at you with his eyes widened. You stop charging at him but you was in a position ready to swing "before you go all Harley Quinn on me,"
You rolled your eyes at Spooky comparisons. "I just want to talk to you."
"What is there to talk about? Where's your new girl, eh? She's probably in your car." you said. Your heart starts to burn again in jealousy but quickly stops knowing he would never be interested in you.
"Nah. I never wanted her. I don't like my chica with nothing to grab." said Spooky. You slowly start to put your bat down as his sentence starts to process in your mind.
"W-well. What are you doing here, anyways?" you said stuttering a bit.
"To see you." said Spooky while walking into the studio completely and closing the door behind him.
"Why? I didn't think we were that close." you said and completely dropped your bat on the floor and sat down on the small couch.
"Yeah, we are," said Spooky as he sat next to you. "I've been so worried about you. You just ran away after coming back from almost drowning. I was looking for you everywhere."
"Really?" you asked looking at him and he nodded. You felt your heart skipping a beat. You didn't know he was looking for you all this time. He was actually worried. Does that mean anything?
"I'm sorry for the trouble. You didn't have to. I was fine here." you said and you turn back to your studio in front of you.
"Well, I didn't know you have a homemade studio or you could sing. I'm still learning about you everyday." said Spooky and he slowly puts his arm around your shoulder, making you tense up a bit.
"Is this okay? You seem kinda scared of me."
"No! I'm not! Really, I...just never have everybody wrap their shoulder around me." you said trying to convince him but he already understands. You slowly start to get comfortable with him again and your tension goes away.
"Why are you so...invested in me? I'm just a plus size girl that nobody wants to be friends or be somebody's girlfriend with." you asked and turned away starting to feel negative about yourself again.
Spooky grabs your chin and leans it towards him. He continues on holding it in his left fingers. You felt tension again as you started feeling his soul burning into yours by his eyes.
"Y/N, I like you. I really do. More than friends. I hate that you're putting yourself down everyday like it's okay but it's not. You're so beautiful, amazing, smart, unique, and your body is a special feature of you that I love so much." said Spooky and he grabs your waist with his left hand and starts to caress it softly.
A warm rush through your body as you felt his touch on yours. He does it so softly that it causes you to blush straight up at him.
"I'm sorry, I-"
"God, you're cute." said Spooky in a very husky voice, making you shiver your whole body for a few moments.
Seeing him getting closer is making you even more nervous of what's going to happen. Spooky knowing he got to lead in this, he continues this vibe at the moment.
"Don't think, mi amor." said Spooky and all of sudden, you felt lips connected to yours. Your eyes widened at the sight to see him kissing you softly.
You hesitated as you started to get more and more into the kiss until you were kissing him back completely. You couldn't believe you were kissing the guy you were interested in for months. It's unbelievable.
Both of you ended the kiss and looked into each other's eyes deeply. You didn't know what to say.
"That was so worth it." said Spooky with a smile on his face.
"It sure was." you said and you gained a huge grin on your face, causing him to chuckle a bit.
"What am I going to do about you?" asked Spooky and you shrugged not knowing what to do.
"Let me kiss those lips again." said Spooky and he quickly pulls you on your lap. Your legs ended up straddling his waist to the couch, making you gain a red blush.
"Spooky-"
His hands landed on your waist and carefully caressed it which caused a huge warm emotion going through your body again. He kisses you again, making you lean into him kissing him back.
This day completely flipped as you finally got a boyfriend who actually loves you and your curvy body. You never want to change anything in this moment for the world.
