OnS Theories (24S). Fourth Theory - The end or a plot twist? (Special Theory & Long Theory)

Hello everyone, this theory is quite special since it’s been heard about how the story is getting more interesting and of course, this was actually pointed by @everlastingspiral about some interesting lines one of the interesting character better known as Rigr Stafford stated, therefore, let’s begin!

P.S: Theories are held within a neutral view and ships are excluded!

In the latest chapter, there was certain line that Rigr stated. For some it could mean as breaking the 4th wall:

BUT, is this really the end of the story?

There’s a big NO.

What do I mean?

Despite how odd the situation might be, and the several questions that exist within the fandom which are something an anon asked, my friend Coffee_ross from twitter asked as well, they have answers along the doubts that still exist as @everlastingspiral mentioned in one of their posts.

Therefore, in order to give full detail and proof to this, let’s answer the first question:

1. Will Shikama Doji die next chapter?

The answer to this is a big NO. But why? Aren’t Mika and Yuu strong enough now to defeat him?

There’s a big issue within the whole chapter, but which might the issue be?

Despite the new found strength between Yuu and Mika, they’re still within a demon’s space or the heart of a human where generally speaking, is the place where demon and wielder talk, but, is there proof to this?

In fact there is:

After Mika sent his consciousness with Yuu, all the space or the memory segment he was reviewing from Yuu’s past disappeared, but why?

This is due to the fact that since Yuu and Mika were discussing and sealing the new contract between demon and wielder, Shikama considered it was his victory, all the memories that Yuu held down of those who worked with Shikama disappeared and of course, the return or set point was Yuu’s heart again.

Is there a solid proof to this?

In fact, there’s a big one.

If many might recall, whenever a character begins the process to make a contract with a demon; they’re sent to a scene of their hearts; the demon chooses a place that had a strong impact on the person aiming to bring forward a contract which was very visible in chapter 103:

And of course, after this, the battle took place which would eventually lead to Mikaela reaching the very bottom of Yuu’s heart in order to see what was restraining Yuu, or more exactly, what kind of curse fell upon him:

After this memory segment was eventually invaded by the first which was explained in a previous theory:

Therefore, returning to the main point, what exactly will happen to Shikama?

It’s highly likely to see Yuu striking him which of course perhaps for many might be sweet since he has tortured pretty much every character for his own personal agenda, BUT, since he is still in such place, within Yuu’s heart, the damage will be something to what happened in previous chapters whenever a character got injured within someone’s heart:

Even so, there are two scenarios that could happen:

First Scenario - He returns to Shinoa’s body

Despite how the events turned for the First Progenitor, he is aware he doesn’t have enough power thanks to the very fact that Shinoa literally used poison on herself in order to reach Shikama Doji despite him “abandoning” her, which it’s clear now that even if he left her, the contract is still on hold between them.

Therefore, it’s likely to see him getting defeated and eventually sending his consciousness to Shinoa’s body to be sealed again since the real way to truthfully defeat him would be literally killing him in the real world or outside Shinoa’s heart which is the physical world.

Second Scenario - Absolute defeat

Within this scenario despite how its chances of happening may be sightly lower in contrast to the first scenario; due to the fact that the demon Mikaela is not a common black demon, perhaps his powers might be enough to do enough harm towards Shikama to the point of oliberating him.

(I honestly have my doubts but anything could happen)

But now, within this, there’s another question, which could it be?

2. What are Yoichi and Kimizuki’s condition?

This was something related to a question a dear anon sent me this morning, and of course, within the thoughts of a reader @salamanbrrr​, Yoichi and Kimizuki also headed off to Yuu’s heart while getting control over their demons thanks to the drug Mahiru gave them (damn this girl started a business...jk):

Of course, after this, they managed to meet Shikama face to face and briefly fight against him which of course, the fight didn’t last that much due to the overwhelming difference of power giving the results of total defeat of these two:

But, despite how the situation looked for them, I can state firmly they’ll be fine since they pretty much entered within Yuu’s heart while getting control of their demons hearts. Such events have been visible even with their own demons before in chapter 102 and even with Yuu in chapter 104 after Mikaela cut his head:

Now, this might seem the end...BUT in fact, there’s a huge deal going around if Yuu and Mika manage to harm the First Progenitor, what do I mean?

CORRECT. RIGR STAFFORD

3. The end of a limited truce between Progenitors and Humans

We, as readers, have awareness that Rigr and the Progenitors are allied together with the humans in order to take down the First Progenitor, but, it’s precisely here on where there’s a huge difference of goals, what do I mean?

Guren’s side view

Guren, despite being the anti-hero, his main goal is to defeat the First Progenitor since he is very aware he has manipulated everything so the world could be turned upside down, he is aware thanks to Rigr that the First Progenitor has played the role of a fake God and has planned along with Mahiru on how to take him by making alliances with characters that have their respective agendas.

In Guren’s case, it’s pretty clear that defeating the First and resurrecting humanity are his main goals. But, how does Rigr differentiate from him?

Rigr’s side view

In contrast to Guren’s ambition or goal, there’s something that must be defined, what could it be?

Correct. Rigr never stated he wanted to kill the First Progenitor:

Rigr stated it was the day they’d surpass him thanks to the help he received from Urd, since he alone wouldn’t have been able to take the First Progenitor along having Guren playing part of the plan within the whole ordeal to take the First down, but, is there a single proof on Rigr’s agenda?

In fact, there’s a big proof to this:

Back when Shikama was possessing Shinoa, Rigr started to set his plans into motions, of course such plans included on capturing Yuu and sending him to Ikebukuro, BUT, within this, he also had planned to capture the First Progenitor, which was eventually visible due to the next picture:

Rigr’s objective wasn’t killing the First, very asides from the daddy issues at hand; his main goal was to restrain and capture him, leading to an unanswered question which is “Why”.

Rigr is still a mystery in terms of his objectives; he decided to create the Hyakuya sect in order to have power to face him; he aimed to weaken the Hiragi family which was Shikama’s strength for his personal use; he even made sure the JIDA wasn’t left with power so he could restrain Kureto and Shinya’s demon to eventually face the First with everything set into motion, but now that the First is on the very point of losing, another point to this list adds up:

4. Shinoa’s fate

It’s known that Shinoa was pretty much Shikama’s vessel for quite a long time ever since he decided she’d be the perfect vessel he needed to possess; but, what he never expected was that she would eventually fight for her own life, her own desires, and decisions along her fate; but, after some events, Shikama decided to leave her since she was getting on his way, which of course, it only worked briefly since she managed to weaken him again by using poison, to which surprise of many, managed to weaken Shikama:

But, within this, there is something that must be considered. What could it be?

Shinoa’s current state is literally one of a human without a cursed gear protecting her body, since Mahiru warned her that she was using poison in order to destroy the cells of the First, and of course, the evident reaction of this poison was displayed on her eye:

To add more to this, there are two scenarios happening here:

First Scenario - Shinoa’s close death

Within this scenario, there are two other scenarios to be considered, and that of course, is very related to the First Progenitor, what do I mean?

It’s very clear that chapter 108 will lead a battle between Yuu and the First, and the outcome of it might be favorable towards humanity, BUT, there are few problems:

1. How badly will be the damages suffered if Shikama returns to Shinoa’s heart after receiving the damage of a not common black cursed gear such as Mikaela?

It’s known that the demon Mikaela isn’t the average demon in contrast to Asuramaru, which is due to the fact that the demon Mikaela holds even more power stored within him due to how he became a demon in contrast to the Apostles chosen by Shikama.

Which only leads to wonder these questions related to the damage inflicted by Mikaela:

-Will the damage received towards the First will also directly affect the wielder?

-In case Shikama simply returns badly injured to Shinoa, will she be able to withstand the posion within her body since the First won’t be fitted to heal her body in contrast to how other cursed gears work?

2. WIll Shinoa still be safe after a possible victory for everyone that opposed the First?

This second scenario makes a possibility as well due to the fact that, once the fall of the First takes place, will the progenitors keep its truce with the humans or will new goals within them appear?

In case Rigr Stafford follows his original agenda of capturing the First for his own personal reason, it’d mean that he might target Shinoa since he is very aware where exactly the First Progenitor resides, or rather, he is very aware which is his current vessel.

But, in case this scenario happened, would that be possible?

There are several factors to be considered.

1. Yuu won’t be in shape to fight since he’s not sustaining one cursed gear but two; and this is very visible in past chapters.

Back when he fought Ky Luc after unleashing his seraph powers, he was left in a pretty bad shape leaving him unconscious due to the massive power he spent. And the very fact the demon Mikaela requires desires to fight with Yuu, it’s possible that Yuu’s strength might be deplenished specially considering that he wouldn’t face one progenitor but three.

2. Guren might be not be capable to fight.

Within this, it’s needed to remember that Noya is literally K.O after Mahiru stabbed him with a drug; along the fact that Mahiru is literally materialized in the real world drugging herself with poison in order to halt the First Progenitor; thus leaving him quite powerless.

3. Yoichi, Kimizuki and Mitsuba by themselves won’t be able to face down 4 vampire progenitors of high rank.

The very fact that even if two wield black demon series, doesn’t mean they’ll be able to fight against 2 second progenitors, one 3rd progenitor and one 5th progenitor.

Krul alone isn’t a match either to Urd or Rigr due to the massive difference of age and speed both hold.

5. Mitsuba’s character development

One thing missing as well is Mitsuba’s character as a whole; we have no information of her demon nor her role in the story to whcih, the current point, has been pretty much so small.

6. Shikama’s past

Despite seeing Shikama in despair, we still have no information of his past, how he appeared on Earth, how he managed to be the way he is, and how he was able to manipulate everything around him.

Therefore, this only highlights that ONS is far from over; there are several factors to cover within the story, and it’s very likely that the current arc we have read so far, will come to an end only to bring forward a new one specially since it was hinted by certain character that they would eventually need to fight millenia monsters.

OnS Theories (21S). First Theory - Inverse Trinity

Hello everyone, it’s been a long while since I updated, a lot of things happened in May but nevertheless, here I am again.

Chapter 103 Spoilers are out, you can check the link if you’re curious about them, the official translation will be available tomorrow in MangaPLUS or Viz Media.

This theory popped early but the burst of ideas popped after talking with some friends on discord about the chapter and the translations. Mika, one of my friends, being the one that translates the manga with passion, gave me an insight of what the characters stated in there; and of course, after some thinking, this lead me think to something huge, therefore, let’s begin!

As a side note, this time, this theory will have some elements taken from the Bible, therefore, I apologize if there are issues here and there

As I stated, thanks to the translations made by several readers that love OnS, specially Mika; there was something curious about Shikama Doji within the latest chapter and is the fact he stated he aimed to save Mikaela and Yuichiro when we’ve seen his attitudes and objectives are rather of doubtful procedence.

Along with this, there has been something intriguing which is the fact that he has constantly called Mika his “son”. 

At first glance, it seems like he might be a passionate figure that aims to recover what he lost long ago but in fact, there’s something deeper to it, what do I mean?

For that, let’s take an insight of some aspects of the bible and religion itself.

It is often said in texts that back when Chirst was about to get crucified, the devil appeared within the path Christ had to go through to reach the final destination of his life; but, what does this have to do with the story?

In such aspects of the bible, it is stated that the devil carried out a baby and proclaimed it to be his son, one that he could love in order to mock Christ on how he would suffer for humanity in order to remove their sins.

Therefore, the main question is, how is Shikama relatable to such fragment?

By now, it is known that Shikama is literally a representation of the devil, which once was known as Lucifer, the most beautiful creation of God.

And of course, this is heavily represented in the LNs of the Catastrophe, specifically in the 7th Volume of the story, after Guren gave Shinoa her cursed gear so she could survive the apocalypse by Mahiru’s orders.

In said chapter of the last volume, Shinoa stated that Shikama was beautiful and she had troubles to determinate whenever Shikama was a she or a he but despite that, she was taken in awe by their beauty:

Along this there has been subtle evidence that of what Lucifer, the name itself means, which is Morning Star, Light Bringer, etc.

But nevertheless, we’ve seen that Shikama only once stated that he was punished for a “taboo” he broke long ago and took the form we saw back in the old days of Greece.

And so far, within the story, the only taboo we as readers know so far is to bring back those who have perished, such as is the example of how Guren brought back his friends leading to the eventual end of the world by a virus; of course, despite this action, it was something that was bound to happen whenever he was the trigger for it or not.

Therefore, what does the theory itself imply? Why is it titled as inverse trinity?

It is known that religion takes two special numbers as holy, one of them being the number 7 since that was exactly the amount of time God took in order to create his most perfect work which was life, the planet and eventually the first humans. 

Ironically to this, there is an exact representation to that, what could it be?

Correct. The seven seraphs of the end.

Despite only having awareness of 3 active seraphs, there are 7 in total that have relied in Sinful Keys in order to awake them.

But despite such number being special, there’s actually another one that does take a special meaning, which number might it be?

Correct. Number 3. The Holy Trinity.

The Holy Trinity represents God = Father, Son and the Holy Spirit which at the very end represent God (In Christianity of course). 

But again, how can this be related with Shikama’s actions, objectives or taboo?

Shikama once stated that God has a far more twisted personality than him which strongly implies that he once knew God at a certain point of his existance:

Therefore, there’s a high possibility that his biggest taboo wasn’t that he aimed to bring back someone that passed away, but rather, by taking an insight of the elements of Lucifer’s fall and how he is literally a Fake God on Earth that has managed to twist the strings of fate and made different empires fall and raise along religions, it can be said that after his exile of heaven, he did exactly what God had.

He aimed to have his own Earth, one that had no sunlight that could torture him since he clearly stated back in chapter 94 that he disliked the Sun:

Furthermore, to add strength to this,to his possible taboo, he had a “son”, one that was eventually killed supposely after being blamed of certain unknown crimes that so far haven’t been revealed yet:

But then, how can Shikama exactly create an inverse trinity if he only brought a son to his life?

To explain this, it is needed to take Shikama as a reflection of the Devil or what Lucifer ended up being after being expelled from heaven,it is to say he has played the role of God on Earth for his own goals without caring of who he’ll hurt if it means to succeed on what he has always aimed; the second point to this inverse trinity is the fact that he has created a demon child and has labeled it as his own son, which of course in religion would be the clear example of the envy the Devil had towards God.

But where exactly lies what could reflect the third point of the inverse trinity when the Holy Trinity has the Holy Spirit?

This one falls with Yuichiro Hyakuya

But then, the question would fall on how exactly Yu could fit into such role when he’s something that can’t be labeled as human nor demon or seraph despite being able to transform into one.

For this, it is needed to remember on how Yuu was created long ago back in the dark ages of Greece:

Correct. Yuu wasn’t a human being to begin with but was given a personality and attitude to behave like one; of course, at such time Sika Madu was performing experiments from a different nature with kids; he was seeking whenever the blood the artifitial Yuu had could turn humans into vampires, and of course, Ashera was the prime result for this. Such orbs had an element that allowed to heal Yuu since, at that time, Shikama cut his head off after he attacked Ashera leading to his death as a human:

It could be said that Yuu was pretty much like a lifeless doll used for the purpose to achieve certain goal Shikama never revealed at such time; furthermore, to give strength to this, it is very well known that back in those ages, Yuu was killed again by Noya after the vampires Shikama created grew in few numbers:

Noya stated that dozens of Yus would be created even if he killed one, leading to understand that Yu in fact has been an artifitial life cloned endlessly, but within this, there’s something that must be taken in consideration with the latest chapter which is 103.

Thanks to the fan translations proved by Mika, the demon Mikaela in one panel stated that there were fake souls within the human’s heart which is of course related to Yu’s heart since Yu aimed to make Mika remember what they went through to bring him back home with him.

But then, what’s the main key to the third aspect of the trinity Shikama is seeking?

There’s a huge key element that plays very well despite how the demon Mikaela stated that Yu’s heart had fake souls, but what could it be?

Correct. Yu managed to have a solid soul after unknown years of a constant cycle of life and death, a constant samsara and this is heavily pointed out by Shikama Doji back in chapter 74:

Shikama Doji expected Yu to be another of his pieces in order to clean the path he was focused to reach; but to his surprise, Yu had autonomy, what do I mean?

Instead of being the servant Shikama had long ago, Yuichiro had a soul of his own, a mind of his own, a purpose of his own, a reason to exist and live despite the conditions he had to face. He had the means to what it can be called someone “human”.

But then, how can Yu be the last piece to the inverse trinity Shikama seeks?

Returning again to the fan translations, Shikama stated that he is going to protect Yuichiro and Mikaela, of course, such statement and the fact that the main cast is rushing against time implies that he is aiming to use them for whatever he plans to do with them since he finally is getting what he has seeked for long, therefore, in order to kill two birds with one stone, he is waiting for the moment Yu and Mika are together in order to bring or reflect this inverse trinity.

It could be said that Yu would work as the reverse of the Holy Spirit, since he pretty much has been tainted by many taboos, one of them is mixing his Serah form with a curse of a cursed gear that holds a demon, given how his wings are very different to those of the seraphs that have been displayed in the manga story.

It could be concluded at the end, that Shikama has all the key elements to express the total and absolute rebellion towards everything God has created, something that has been inverted in order to stamp of the holiness that such elements carry within meaning.

The fact he managed to end almost all the life within Earth, the fact that demons have descended upon Earth with the methods he carried out to bring vampires and from them demons, is only a reflection of a possible huge ambition and raison d’etre.

OnS Theories (20S). First Theory - The meaning of saving Mikaela

Hello everyone, I’m very sure many are extremely happy with the events of chapter 102, along this, there was something that awoke within several readers which is a particular panel between Yu and Asuramaru, with the suggestion of @mikaisyuudere, let’s talk about this with depthness.

As many might have noticed, Yuichiro headed off to save Mikaela and managed to defeat three black demons with the enhancement of his desires thanks to Asuramaru, but, within one particular panel, Asuramaru asked Yu the next thing:

Asuramaru asked Yu what he really wants since he states that Yu doesn’t want to save Mika.

But of course the scene goes for Yu focused on saving him no matter what, leading this to a question that has invaded several readers as to why is Yu working for Guren since he was the one that cut Mika in half? What is the purpose of saving him if the First Progenitor stated Mika is his son? Wouldn’t that make Shikama the protective figure for Mika?

(Warning: Theories are take aspects of confirmed events and such event was stated by the summary of said chapter)

In chapter 98, Shikama possessed Shinoa again in order to know how Mahiru was able to track down his plan back when she made a deal with Krul, this only lead Krul to detect his presence easily leading an attack towards Shinoa’s body.

Of course, Shikama managed to halt such attack easily and stated that he was trying to save Mikaela along calling him his precious child.

But, as painful as it might be, Shikama isn’t focused on saving anyone in particular, but, how can I state such thing?

If many might have noticed, Shikama could have gone himself towards Mikaela’s dream world and enter in contact with him directly in order to protect him, but instead, he sent 3 black demons to literally break him mentally and emotionally, leaving him in this current state:

This only leads to the next criteria which is literally the background that has been revealed so far about him, and such background of Shikama consists on the next thing:

Experimenting on human children way before he met Ashera

Creating infinite clones of Yuichiro without worrying about killing each clone for his own selfish purposes

Creating a vampire society to eventually select his chosen “apostoles” along mesmerizing them to work for him without objections

Start a long chain of experiments within a chosen Family until the perfect Vessel came out of it

Experiment with more children manipulating the hands of time and destiny in order to make everything fall within his palm in order to create children with seraph traits and Michaela traits

Lead the end of the world by making the Catastrophe descend upon the world by a 3rd party

Send 3 black demons to literally capture Mikaela’s soul by breaking him emotionally and mentally

But then, if there are more negative aspects within Shikama, what makes Guren a better option? Or rather, why does Yu follow up Guren’s plan?

First of all, there’s no justification for actions the characters do, I’m very aware Guren may be the least character some readers enjoy, and viceversa but nevertheless, Guren and Mahiru have been working alone in order to counter the twisted motion of the First Progenitor; instead of seeing a World in ashes, they want to see the same bright world they managed to experience when they were younger, but for that, morality was needed to be dismissed specially with how the current scenario goes.

Guren’s goal is that Yu and Mika merge together so they can become a strong being that will counter Shikama, such being is the archangel Michael which has been stated several times:

The Sun God Aten they refer is none else than Yuichiro Hyakuya, he is the one they captured back in old chapters after the Hyakuya Sect managed to infiltrate within the JIDA headquarters.

In chapter 81, the same line was stated again and the only person that was being dragged was Yuichiro Hyakuya along his cursed gear Asuramaru, and, as I stated before, while it is true that Sun God Aten belongs to other culture and religion, in fact this is a code, because in Christianity, such God is in fact the Archangel Michael, which of course is clear as water since the Hyakuya Sect soldiers mention “The Sword of Michael” which at that time was Asuramaru.

On contrary of Shikama, Guren aimed to locate Mikaela in order for him to make a contract in a more peaceful way with Yu so they could be together again, but of course, they weren’t expecting that the black demons would be working with the First Progenitor.

It could be said that Guren first’s goal was to erradicate the First Progenitor in order to return everything to how it was before the Catastrophe took place, which means restoring the world.

But let’s have another insight about “Saving”.

What does Yu view as saving Mikaela?

Yuichiro has displayed in several times that his biggest grief is to lose the first person that ever gave him warmth, what do I mean?

Mika was the first one to make him feel loved. Yu only knew hate from those he loved before, which means, his parents.

Yuichiro had no one to count with back as a kid but once the Catastrophe arrived and once the incidents within the Vampire Capital came, Yuichiro learnt the value of having a family. Such thing is heavily reflected in the first chapter of the story:

Yuichiro couldn’t move on from that loss at that time since he knew Mika sacrificed himself so he could live after the whole massacre of his new family happened in less than 5 seconds, but of course, the squad alone was able to make him start accepting new people along having a new family, but of course, the events lead him to see Mika and eventually reuinite with him.

It could be said that Yu’s view of saving isn’t directed of having Mikaela bound on any state he is but rather, he is aiming to fulfill the promise he did to himself long ago, but what was that promise?

“Return Mika to be a normal human being”

Despite the silly attitue Yu has displayed within several chapters, Yuichiro’s solemn wish is to see Mikaela live a normal life, he wants to see him well and healthy with his new family, he wants to bring back those he lost back when he was a kid and eventually live what it could be labeled as “Paradise”. But how can I bring down such term?

Paradise itself is indeed a term often spoken as the last place for kind souls, but even paradise can be found on Earth when those loved ones exist next to you. As for Yu, his biggest desire isn’t to save Mika but rather, to fulfill his promise and bring peace to those he have met since deep down, he feels responsible for the mess that many have faced with the time he has spent with them.

He might not shout it out aloud but, he feels responsible for the next things:

Making Mika saccrifice himself for him

Seeing Mika become a vampire for him

Seeing Mika sacrifice for him leading for him to become a demon

Seeing Shiho lose his sister due to events that were tied to him

Seeing that just the fact his actions lead to heavy losses in old chapters for some 

Seeing Shinoa sacrifice herself in order to save him and his demon

At the end, saving Mikaela just by how Yu stated it:

No matter what it’s to come, he’ll save him.

Such statement clears any doubt he could have, and this is solely focused on giving Mika a “miracle”, a chance to live again before he lost his humanity, as he once knew the young Mika that managed to make Yu feel that caring world he once sought.

OnS Theories (16S). First Theory - Michaela's vessel

Hello everyone! I’m finally back and of course I’m happy for that, I hope these theories are to your liking.

But now focusing on the latest chapter, there are so many intriguing details about it, therefore, let’s begin!

First of all, with the current events, we’ve learnt that Mikaela is called “child” by the First Progenitor, but, there’s an issue to it, what may it be when the First mentioned he had a “son”?

The demon Mikaela is a young boy without memories, a boy who has no clue what’s going around but his sole goal is to feed on desires nonstop; his powers are way too much compared to the current black demons, but now, what may be the issue?

Correct. The first isn’t seeing him as his real child but rather as the key to bring the real Michaela back to Earth. But how can I state such thing when he’s calling him his precious child?

That’s easy. If many have seen Mika’s demon powers, he’s able to attack other demons from afar, which is something on how Jisengo worked like but without the need to open up portals but rather tracking the source of the enemy; within this, he’s also the only demon being capable of seeing his “bubble dream” compared to the other demons.

But before we proceed to talk about the vessel, let’s give an insight of Shikama.

Shikama is perfectly known to be a Fake God that is able ot manipulate history as his own pace and ambition; he was able to create humans with his own methods and within this, he also had a rather interesting attitude when something called Shikama’s attention and this is very reflected with Ashera:

Shikama saw slow hints of progress with his research, and for this, he only needed the correct words and deals so people would end up doing his biding, including on bringing few subjects which are the demons to his main goal; what may his real goal be? 

For now, it’s the speculation that he’s aiming to bring back his real son but, within this I’d like to give a note of something that is within a layer of doubt.

NOTE: Shikama might actually be trying to not exactly bring back his child but rather, get his real body back which was the corpse sleeping in the coffin since the story is about revenge itself.

But with this, what does this have to do with Michaela’s vessel and our current demon Mikaela?

Correct, Shinoa Hiragi is the mentioned vessel, but how can I state such thing?

If many might recall, Shikama aimed to possess Shinoa long ago until he succeeded. Within this possession, he wasn’t focused on devouring her heart like other demons usually do which feed on desires but rather, he was preparing her body to be able to hold down the real power of his son, which can be seen in previous chapters:

He stated in that chapter that he could resist the power of the Sinful Keys but he chose to not do so in order to not break the vessel he has, but, what does this mean?

Correct. Shikama isn’t trying to use Shinoa Hiragi as his vessel but rather for someone else. And that person is his real son, Michaela

But then again, how can I state such thing?

Shikama made Shinoa with the experiment Tenri conducted so he could fin a suitable vessel capable of holding down many demons but within this, he also made sure the vessel he had, could be able to withstand the abyssmal power he has along the one his biggest secret has.

And so far, after Guren trapped Shikama within Shinoa’s body, Shinoa’s body only suffered soreness but overall, her body in general gained inhuman strength and power; she didn’t lose her memories nor suffered any other side effects asides from seeing Shikama being able to pop his consciousness within Shinoa’s body.

Along this, there’s also an issue to be noted; in the Catastrophe LNs, Shikama mentioned that if it weren’t for Shinoa, demons wouldn’t be able to exist; at first it might seem like an innofensive phrase but it carries a heavy meaning behind; furthermore, Shikama always tried to offer his memories firsthand to Shinoa intead of other things, and seeing how Shinoa withstood such offers, he proceeded with other methods until he finally decided to attack Yu and Ashera in order to make her come and rescue them.

But now,  what does the demon Mika might actually offer or give to Shikama?

That’s easy. His powers. Shikama sees an abyssmal power of the current King of the demons, but he’s not interested in the physical appearance of Mikaela but rather, he’s interested on his soul

Shikama Doji could have tell Ashera to capture Mikaela but instead, he asked for Mikaela’s soul, which is the base of everything, the base of what defines a person.

Therefore, with Shinoa and Mikaela’s soul, his end goal is to set Mika’s soul alone within the vessel he currently uses to finally bring Michaela back to life.

OnS Theories (13S). Ninth Theory - Sika Madu, former Michaela or...false identity?

Hello everyone, hope everyone’s been doing well so far, therefore, let’s start with a rather interesting theory or perhaps something many have thought before, let’s begin!

As many might recall, Kagami himself takes many aspects from the bible along other religious references for the story, so far, Shikama Doji or formerly known as Sika Madu, has displayed that unique characteristic that is quite similar to the fallen angel Lucifer, but how can I state this?

First of all, in the LNs, in the last volume of the Catastrophe, Shinoa stated that Shikama was a beautiful demon, of course, it is well known that Lucifer was once the most beautiful archangel God created. But of course, things went south, he was expelled from heaven by the archangel Michael.

When Sika Madu finally appeared, Tenri stated that the Hiragi Family had a “cursed God”, of course, Sika stated that was an exaggeration by Tenri Hiragi, but despite this, Sika Madu always had an angelical aspect or look.

Furthermore, to give more strength to the reason why Shikama is the representation of Lucifer, the characters in the story are displayed in certain order, first, we have 4 characters whose pairs of wings are equivalent to 6, such characters are Mikaela Hyakuya, Yuichiro Hyakuya (the one from the ancient times of Greece, the corpse of Michaela and lastly Sika Madu.

But then, why name those four if there’s a false identity? To begin with, Mikaela and Yuichiro’s personalities aren’t focused on destruction or primordial goals with ambition; it is well displayed that there’s innocence and love within their actions; despite that the Yu from ancient Greece had no control whenever he turned into a seraph, there was kindness when he was displayed as a human.

As for Mika in chapter 93, the wings he popped within the dream in fact expressed freedom, I’ll explain in other theory why he had wings on said chapter.

It is unknown how exactly the corpse of Michaela ended up in a coffin and lastly, Sika Madu, the one sole demon that in fact, isn’t one; but how can I state this?

Thanks to the latest chapters, it was known that vampires at their respective end, end up having a big dream on which their biggest desire becomes a reality, for Mikaela’s case, his biggest desire or wish was to have a happy moment with his family; but with Sika Madu, despite being sealed in a cursed gear, he really had no regrets, nothing to lose, it is as if he knew he’d regain his physical body with more strength to it with time 

Compared to him, Shikama had nothing to lose or gain, he didn’t have a dream on which he’d have the happiest goal since his mind is in perfect state ever since he became a demon.

But then again, why do I state Sika Madu has a false identity?

It is mainly because the Progenitors saw him as someone who could do the impossible, they thought highly of him for being able to create, move and control everything around him; furthermore, wiithin the Resurrection LNs, Rigr stated that Sika Madu has played the role of God, he has written, changed, selected which religions should rise and fall way before the story unfolded, therefore, it’s highly possible that the fact he labeled himself as Michaela, was to diverse the attention of the Progenitors from the real corpse of Michaela; the only vampires who knew about the corpse were Ashera Tepes, Noya Hienma and Krul Tepes.

Therefore, to conclude with this theory, within Japanese anime/manga stories, Lucifer is often displayed as an angel with 12 wings which can be clearly seen with Devilman Crybaby, Shin Megami Tensei, etc.

OnS Theories (14S). Eighth Theory - The taboo of The First Progenitor

Hello everyone, I hope everyone’s been doing well, this is another theory I come up with for the day, there are two theories left before the break begins; therefore, I hope everyone’s enjoying the theories so far.

Let’s begin!

Another quote I love from this marvelous game that includes tragedy to no end, is the fact that a being that was close like god killed so many until she was locked in a cube; hence the quote over there, she was locked for more than 50 000 years.

Now, you might wonder what does this have to do with the First Progenitor?

The main reason for this, is because he was punished, he stated in the latest chapter he was blamed for someone else’s sins and ended up losing something he treasured. But, what exactly or when did his taboo start?

It is well known that seraphs always speak about “humanity breaking certain taboo”; so far, it is known that such taboo was resurrecting those who were long gone, but, in fact, it’s something much worse. Before we continue with this, let’s analyse something that has a lot to do with the taboo.What could it be?

Correct. Sika Madu’s experiments.

At first glance, the fact that he made a mass production of Yu in the Dark Ages of Greece, seemed like he was testing or creating humans by his own methods, but actually, this is wrong, how can I state such thing?

When Yu transformed into a seraph, he popped 6 wings in total, similar to Sika Madu, but, did that mean the Yu from the past was someone related to Sika Madu?

In fact, he was and he wasn’t at the same time. But how?

It is stated by Noya that Sika Madu performed experiments to create humans but in reality, those experiments were attempts to bring back the one he lost; he first started testing with his DNA, hence why some spheres or black orbs could be seen in chapter 79.

Sika Madu was actually testing how exactly a new vessel for his son would act like once his seraph powers activated, hence why he started the blood of the corpse along the methods to create humans to find and see if there was compatibility with his blood, hence why he stated that Ashera was compatible with Yu’s blood.

After some time, in the World Resurrection LNs, it’s stated by Rigr that Sika Madu has played the role of God choosing which religions and empires would rise and fall all along; within this, it could be said another taboo was broken by him; furthermore, Sika Madu ended up bestowing with power the Hiragi Family for 1200 years; it is said that the First Head managed to live for 200 years.

But then, what exactly was his taboo and why humanity along him are paying for his sins?

It might be a guessing for now, but it could be said that Sika Madu broke something that could be called holic; it is well known that in christianity, the only who was able to give offsprings was God himself, he chose a vessel to carry his will, the best example being Jesuschrist.

If we take such fragment from the bible into the story, Sika Madu actually attempted to play his own version of God’s power by having an offspring of his own, which in fact, it’s forbidden. But now, how does humanity end up being mixed with his own sin?

Correct. It’s possible that Sika Madu chose a vessel to carry his offspring long ago, giving birth to the angel Michaela. But, despite something that he might have longed to have, there’s something rather curious; “Sika states that he was blamed for a determinated group’s crime and his son was killed.”

What does this quote imply? Does that mean Sika Madu has been innocent?

So far, since there’s not much information about him, it is uncertain if he’s telling the truth or actually lying. But for what it can be said, Shikama actually was able to feel the sun, to be bathed under it but when he states “they made me into this” he’s actually referring to the fact that despite he had his wings, he wasn’t able to treasure or long for the sun anymore. He got cursed by it.

As for the crimes, it is pausible such crimes he was referring could be divided in two, but why?

It is well known that in biblic texts, Lucifer was once an angel in charge the Eden, he was harbored with the most beautiful gemstones which ironically, Sika Madu is displayed with in the story back in the Dark Ages of Greece.

Furthermore, it was stated that Lucifer was a being with wisdom, he was in control of spreading God’s will within his tembple, but of course such events only unleashed him getting kicked out.

First scenario - The crimes referred to the decisions taken before getting kicked

As for what it was stated before, it is possible that the crimes Shikama meant were likely referred to the decision of him being the link between Earth and Eden, the communication between humans and God himself, hence why he states that God has a more twisted personality than him.

But now, you might wonder how did that end up affecting his son?

Well, as I stated before these two points started, it’s likely that one of the biggest taboo along his corruption was that he spawned a child of his own, which was something only God had the authority to do so, which then can be stated as a rebellion against God himself.

Second scenario - Humanity. The fall of Shikama

Another scenario is that Shikama’s heart ended up getting contaminated by how humans behaved; what do I mean?

It is well known that humans in the past have always fought despite the teachings given to them; therefore, it’s highly possible that Sika Madu ended up admiring how humans were free despite hearing and learning from God; but how can I state this?

Sika Madu always speaks about humans as if he always knew what was in their minds; he was aware of what humans always called love was rather lust. Therefore, the fact that humans despite time seemed to never change, might have made Shikama take drastic decisions towards them, which in a way, might have pissed God for rebelling and disrespecting his authority for his own.

As for the son, it could be said that the death of his son might not have been a punished by God but rather humanity itself, but you might wonder how would that be possible if the corpse is in a good condition.

For that, it’s likely that he could have healed the external injuries but of course, once the soul is gone, there’s no return for what it’s gone.

Therefore, his taboo actually goes before he started the experiments, it could be said his taboo was something that currently does in the story, which is playing the role of God.

OnS Theories (15S). First Theory - Mikaela’s sealing

Hello everyone! We begin with a new theory season, I hope everyone’s been doing well!

As for me, I’ve been studying hard for the future; but anyways, taking this opportunity, the spoilers are out, I’d like to say it was quite the relaxing chapter but before we actually start talking about said chapter, let’s actually talk about Mika’s fate as a demon.

Therefore, let’s begin!

With the spoilers out, I can only say the chapter was refreshing but well, there was a special detail such chapter gave, what could it be?

Correct. Mika’s appearance.

Mikaela’s appearance is now the one of a boy around the age of 9-12 years old; his demon aspect is the one wearing a white shirt with a hood; many might wonder how Mika was able to preserve his blue eyes, and perhaps you might wonder if this has to do with the dream.

I’m afraid to say that this effect is similar to the one when he became a vampire.

If many might recall, when Krul turned Mikaela into a vampire, his eyes never changed to red; but why?

That’s simple, Mikaela was a half vampire; his humanity resided within him which was the reason he was able to grow up; which can be seen on the covers in old chapters of the manga story:

As it can be seen, at that time, Mika didn’t consume human blood but instead, he fed on his sire Krul Tepes; after he drank Yu’s blood, he finally became a complete vampire.

Therefore, it can be said that once Mikaela starts devouring human desires, he’ll gain those scarlet eyes all demons have, but, how can I state this?

Despite the fact that Mika’s dream displayed him having wings, I must say that there’s nothing that can guarantee that he was the only one that went through such phase, and this is due to the fact that there are few demons from the black series, along the fact that Ashera was somehow like him, a prominent result for the demon transformation process.

But now, focusing on the main point of this theory, will Mika be sealed away in a weapon?

The answer to this is a straight yes. What do I mean?

In the latest spoiler chapter, it can be seen that Mika’s hand is slowly vanishing; and thanks to a friend’s translation, Mika states that he needs to possess and feed on someone since he is a demon.

The translation was made by a good friend on discord.

Therefore, who will exactly seal Mikaela?

For this, there’s only one person that has the knowledge on how to seal demons, such person is Guren Ichinose.

But how can I state such thing?

Guren’s goal and ambition is to dismantle everything the First Progenitor created; it means bringing the world and restoring it before it’s too late and for that, he requires Yu and Mika for such goal or task.

Now with Mikaela being a demon, and one of the strongest demons at hands, it’s highly possible that Guren will end up sealing Mikaela in a special weapon that will eventually be used by Yuichiro, but, how can I state such thing?

If many might recall, Yu’s name is Sun God Aten, while Ashera’s name is the Sword of Michael, but, how can Yu’s name be that if he’s constantly called “Demon”?

It can be said that “Demon” is mostly a code name that was given to him by the Hyakuya Sect while the real purpose of Yu is heavily based on the name of Sun God Aten.

Within this, it’s likely that Mika will play an important role in the awakening of the Triump Card for humanity to succeed and defeat the First Progenitor.

This is likely due to the fact Guren has the knowledge of the events before and after the Catastrophe thanks to Rigr Stafford and Mahiru Hiragi related on how the world ended, how exactly the First Progenitor played the role of God, which is why he’ll aim to seal Mikaela with the purpose Mika can feed on human desires without having him disappear along the main goal for humanity’s victory, but then, how can I state such thing about Mika disappearing?

It is well known that demons just like vampires need to feed; in a vampire’s case, if the vampire stops feeding, they’ll end up losing their sanity until reaching demise until they eventually become demons.

But, in the case of demons; since its the final path of vampires, they’ll completely die of starvation along the fact that they can’t remain in the physical world without having a source that can keep them within it. How can I state such thing?

The best or clear example on why Noya was able to manifest in the real world without the fear of losing his body; was mainly because he was sealed in a cursed gear and fed on human desires that gave him strength.

With that being said, it’s likely that a rather interesting battle between the demon Mikaela and Guren IchInose will take place with the sole purpose to seal Mikaela or at least trap him so he can eventually feed on human desires, along this, it might be unknown if the Progenitors will end up meeting him or not; along the JIDA.

Therefore, it’s highly possible that the one who will end up sealing Mika in a special weapon will be Guren Ichinose.

As for what exactly the cursed gear Mika will end up, I must say it’s a bit hard to imagine now that his demon appearance is that of a child, therefore, I leave it to your imagination!
