So I ordered the limited edition @maccosmetics @patrickstarrr powder online via the MAC website. Long story, short: they lost the items and can’t resend me these powders because they’re sold out. They offered a refund; I said I don’t want a refund: I WANT MY @patrickstarrr POWDER!!!! I feel so cheated because I already paid for these items, but because #MAC still uses untrustworthy courier services like @ontrac_shipping (they literally signed off my package to someone else — so some other dude is enjoying my entire #PatrickStarrrForMac collection) I am left to suffer their inefficiencies. Sigh. I guess I will just have to settle with imagining how good they are. It’s hard when you pay good money for good stuff, but a flawed system just takes advantage of your trust. #OnTracSucksBigTime #ontrac

My @BoxyCharm Premium for Jan. arrived ontime, Boxy used @fedex & not #OnTrac so that made a significant diff! I’m torn on this, It’s a love except i hate the acne products bc i shouldn’t have received them, period. . . It’s variation number 31. Theme is #BoxyBreakingTheIce, retail value is $212 (it’s worth LESS than my base box, but i paid more & i can’t use 1/3 of it?!) & it cost me $35. #ReferralLink to join is in my bio (#LinkInBio) Products received are: . . 1. @TulaSkincare Keep it clear acne foam cleanser - i have dry & dehydrated skin. Boxy KNOWS this. I cannot use Salicylic acid it will tear my skin up. This is a pharmaceutical product meant for specific people. This was sent to #Boxycharmers specifically with dry skin making it a terrible pick #Boxycharm. We do your surveys & quizzes to prevent this from happening. What happened? 😞 i wanted to try Tula products too. #TulaSkincareBreakingTheIce #TulaSkincare (MSRP: $34.00) 2. @Bliss Pore Patrol Mask - another acne product meant to deep clean pores. I see a dermatologist for my dehydrated & dry skin (yes dehydrated, which is significantly worse than just basic dry skin) I’ve been told specifically not to use products like this. This makes 2/6 (33%) of my products that I cannot use. Had I known I would be receiving acne products, I wouldn’t have even purchased the box. #BlissBreakingTheIce #Bliss (MSRP: $18) 3. @TooFaced Palm springs dreams cocktail party eyeshadow palette - This is beautiful! I picked this as my choice item. I’m very happy that they got it correct. I’m very excited! I just wish that they didn’t put it together so sloppy; the sticker on the back is crooked & my OCD is bothering me so much about it. Also my pans are really loose (FYI #Toofaced) #TooFacedCosmeticsBreakingTheIce (MSRP: $45.00) 4. @Farsali Liquid Glass Radiant Serum - Ive never tried serums by #Farsali but I needed a new hydrating serum. This is a great pick boxy, thanks! #FarsaliBreakingTheIce (MSRP: $54.00) 5. @KatVonDBeauty Lolita eyeshadow (& blush!) - my info card only states this is a an eyeshadow but it’s also a blush, i looked it up. Here is my base @BoxyCharm box for January. It arrived on time! Actually, both of my boxes arrived on time this month. My last January box arrived on time too. Every time thers a 31st in the month before; my next box arrives early. Also boxy used @fedex & not #OnTrac so that made a significant difference! . . Finally not a red or brown thank you! I also love Manna Kadar #DoubleWin! #MannaKadarBreakingTheIce #MannaKadar (MSRP: $21.00) 4. @SkinandCo Truffle Therapy Face Gommage - I like their truffle therapy face mist & i needed a Microdermabrasion replacement; so this is another great pick! #SkinandCoRomaBreakingTheIce #Skina&CoRomaBreakingTheIce #SkinandCoRoma (MSRP: $28.00) 5. @AvantSkincare 8 hour Radiance Renewal Sleeping Mask - my first #Avant product was last month & it was very similar to this. I just received it, so far so good. Not a bad pick. I would not buy it based on the price alone. Let’s see how it performs on my dry skin though. It’s surprising to me bc many of my recent Boxes have had products that i couldn’t use. Not just my base box but luxe, & especially my premium this month (ACNE products?!).
