Efemérides Mágicas. Un día cómo hoy 31 de Mayo pero de 1873 nació en Estocolmo Suecia Nathan Leipziger, mejor conocido en el mundo mágico como Nate Leipzig. Fue el tercero de ocho hermanos, todos dedicados al arte: Pintores y músicos. Solo Nate Leipzig se dedicó a la magia. En 1881 la familia Leipziger se mudó a Detroit USA. Siendo muy niño vio la actuación de un mago en una fiesta infantil y de inmediato comenzó el deseo por aprender como era que se hacia todo eso que había presenciado. A pesar de aprender de libros, él tenía la idea de que cada mago debería desarrollar sus propias técnicas y métodos. Así que en vez de presentar los efectos que aprendía en los libros comenzó a utilizar objetos de uso común en lugar de las enormes cajas para las ilusiones que se ocupaban en la época. Viendo las actuaciones de otros magos, sobre todo de manipuladores, comenzó a idear posibles soluciones para todo lo que veía. La búsqueda de sus propios métodos siempre lo acompaño.
