Something is so fun to me about the themes of finding home in Onyxverse. Home, as a concept, is so many things.
The typical label of home, a specific place that brings you comfort, can be found in Nightmare's hideout, or the Church of Spera for Dream.
Or it can be more conceptual. Like the forests that let Dust feel at peace, or the rivers that give Swap that wonderfully calming feeling.
Or it can be a person, as it is for Ink and Cross, as much as they hate each other.
You may find home where you are, but there's always a part of you that misses your true home where your family resides, like with Horror.
You may have A home, but it doesn't feel like YOUR home, like Error.
Or you can find home in your own imagination and thoughts, creating your own home that follows you wherever you go, like Killer and his illusion realm.
Anyway, yeah. Just like thinking about the themes of Onyxverse and this is one of my favorites.
A comprehensive guide to shipping in relation to my AUs/Multiverses. Because why not. (All of these are strictly romantic stuff, idc much about platonic relationships!)
AUs
Myst!Sans - Canonically shipped with Floro. Don't ship them with anyone else.
Floro!Sans - Canonically shipped with Myst. Don't ship them with anyone else.
Solstice!Sans - Technically canonically shipped with Nightmare. But feel free to ship with anyone except Borealis.
Borealis!Sans - Canonically shipped with Starfall(owned by @/lilxbuggsblog). But feel free to ship with anyone except Solstice.
Possessiontale!Sans - No canon relationship. I'm not too big on seeing him shipped, but not necessarily against it either.
Any child(frisk, chara, asriel, human souls) are no shipping at all. Even aged up. Other than that, I don't care within the AUs.
Heroverse
Everett/Dream - Due to ages, shipping him with anyone but Carter may be weird. Definitely no shipping with Blake.
Simon/Swap - Anyone is fine. Ethan and Vivian are technically canon ships for him, though.
Mia/Geno - Elijah is canon. I'm neutral about anything else.
Carmine/Color - Kai is canon, also somewhat cool with Caelum(when I design him), but other than that its neutral.
Blake/Nightmare - Pretty much everyone except Everett or Carter.
Dustin/Murder - Henry is canon. Not big on anything else because it just wouldn't make much sense for their character, but otherwise neutral.
Henry/Horror - Dustin is canon, anything else is neutral.
Kai/Killer - Carmine is canon, but honestly I'm cool with anything. Bonus points if its another hero x villain ship with him lmao
Elijah/Reaper - Mia is canon, not too sure about anyone else.
Isaac/Ink - No one. AroAce. Platonic relationships only.
Carter/Cross - Due to ages, no one except Everett. You don't have to ship him and Everett, but the only person you CAN ship Carter with is Ev.
Ethan/Error - Neutral to pretty much all, though Simon is partially canon. Definitely not Finn(related).
Finn/Fresh - I have lowkey no clue, definitely not Ethan(related).
Casey - No one. Multiple reasons, mostly the aro ace one. And the dead child one. And the "has no physical form and uses Carter's" one.
Makani/Ccino - Don't really mind. Could be cool to see them shipped with people.
Samantha/Classic - Canon with Ruby, not big on anyone else. Definitely not Henry(Related).
Ruby/Fell - Canon with Sam. Not big on anyone else.
Vivian/Lust - Half canon with Simon. Neutral to anyone else.
Alex/Science - Neutral to anyone, technically theoretically half canon with Blake but thats a story for a different time.
Myst, Floro, Autumn, and Soulburst of Heroverse are also off the table for shipping, and follow their og ships(Myst x Floro, Autumn x Soulburst).
ManaVerse
These are the following canon relationships, I don't like deviations from these much in this AU!

Onyxverse
Every ship that isn't Lumen!Dream x Nox!Nightmare is perfectly fine. There's no canon relationships, and I want every possible relationship to have a possibility!!
If I say "any ship is fine" or "neutral" or whatever, I just want to clarify I do NOT include ships with minor x adult or incest. Technically the only exception to this is Everett x Carter, but theyre so close in age(18 and 17, apart by like half a yearish?) it doesnt matter.
I don't know what to call this AU yet. But I ADORE it. Written versions of the text(+ a bit more info about world building) below the cut :p
Nox!Nightmare - Warlock, Being of Chaos, He/They
Patron Magic - As essentially a warlock, Nox has magic granted to him by their patron. This is Espes, the God of Misery.
Soulbound - He is soulbound to their patron, Espes. This means they share a body, typically seen as a long-term form of possession.
Chaos Magic - They have learned and practice Chaos Magic, specializing generally.
Lumen!Dream - Cleric, Being of Order, She/They
Cleric Magic - Lumen uses the power granted to her by a God of Worship. These include healing and light magic.
Soulbound - She is soulbound to their divine, Spera. This means they share a body, typically seen as a long-term form of possession.
Peacekeeper - They are dedicated to keeping order and peace. They are granted a special Order spell as a result.
Other Worldbuilding Info
This is vaguely based on dnd, but is more of a general fantasy based AU. Many terms will be taken from places like dnd, but may have slightly different meanings.
More on Soulbound: The term relates to any general connection between ones soul and another thing. Your soul is "bound" to that thing. This can be objects, other people, or even gods/deities. I might explain more later on, but both Nox and Lumen are bound to gods.
As for the 'possession' thing... yeah, I mean that pretty literally. Nox is mostly controlled by Espes, while Spera steps back and lets Lumen keep control. Due to how powerful of gods they are, it takes a physical effect, turning Nox and Lumen into Beings of Chaos/Order. The whole chaos/order thing is pretty important and a story for another time lol.
