And now, a word from the desk of the ASWF booking team...

Okay, gang.  Here's the situation.

There's all of two profiles in the ASWF at this time.  Two.  As in, not nearly enough to build a PPV card around, especially since one is a non-combatant legend.

I pried the doors open two months ago, and this is what has happened in that time.

Now, I'm partly to blame for that.  I have a lot of stuff on paper, but very little on screen.  I'm going to try to rectify that.

What worries me is that, out of the people outside of my own household who have expressed interest in restarting the ASWF, nobody's so much as gotten in touch with me about what we should do.  No profiles, no feud ideas, not even an opinion on how things should be run.  This is disconcerting, mainly because I've heard a good bit of, "Oh yeah, that'd be great!  I'd love to get in on this!  Just let me know what I should/can do!", only for it to not materialize in anything.

So, some things must change.  I'm going to start setting more hard-and-fast deadlines, firstly.  Secondly, I don't think we have enough time to do a proper run-up for Ultimate Glory 21.  Not unless we move it to the very end of April.  (If you have an opinion about this, message me before 4/9/2016).  If we decide not to move it, then I'll cobble up a card and post results, a la a "spoiler stream" site review of a PPV.  Not full write-ups, but enough that a knowledgable person can tell what's happened.

With this in mind, I'm going to set a deadline.  Uncensored 2025 will take place on June 21st, 2025.  That means I want matches posted on the day of June 18th, 2016.  That means, if you want your character to be featured at Uncensored 2025, I need to see the character's profile by June 1st, 2016.  That's the absolute LAST day you can submit a character and still have them be considered for a spot on the card.  The sooner, the better.

Also, I would ask that you put in some work for your characters as we move along.  I don't think a minimum of one promo every two weeks and one match every month is too much to ask.  That's a bare minimum, too, so if you're feeling inspired, please, feel free to do more than that.  If you do less than that, though, you might not get on the next PPV's card.  Keep it up, and we might have to talk about the character's future.  At the very least, it'll be harder to ask favors of the bookers if that character can't keep up with the workload.  I understand that we're all busy people now.  We have jobs, and school, and lives, and all sorts of shit to take care of, but I want to make a quality federation out of what we have going on here, and I think the only way to do that is to make sure we don't have a bunch of dead weight on the roster.

Paperdoll (Kim Boggs Corpse Bride style) by ~daughterofangst (I was going to draw Kim Boggs and then I thought it would be fun to draw her in Corpse Bride style. And I don't know if I like the background, but I got kind of carried away with it. It's for this Kim! She is such a lovely and perfect Kim and her roleplayer an even more wonderful person.
