I feel like theres a symbolism that means something in Malevolent i wish so so bad i could tell more people about but theres not a lot to say or tell what it really culminates into meaning Arthur absorbed part of lilith, hes carrying part of her just like he does faroe with his lighter Arthur lights a fire that survives the rain but lilith stamps it out Kayne says to arthur "you let your daughter die" with such anger it sounds like he also blames arthur yet he actively killed lilith in a manner that leads me to wonder if hes upset arthurs daughter still loved him yet Kaynes resents him Kayne asks Arthur if he was a premie in the early 1900s care for premature infants is not what it is today. They were considered inferior and often didn't survive. Kayne named himself after caine who kills his brother. His name is intentional. Lilith brings about the death of infants. Did Arthurs parents turn to worship lilith because they gave birth to a child who they feared would die? This is almost a reversal of Larson who sacrificed his daughter. And the price paid for it didnt have to be right away as Evrards father died later on as well. Is this part of why Lilith spared Arthur all those years ago? this somewhat connects to Arthur surviving his injury from Kellin because a nurse "lily" looked after him while in a coma. Foreshadowing? it means stuff im certain it does but what?? idk pattern recognition brain can grab pieces but as for how it fits together good question. Im so normal about the podcast if you couldnt tell

hello, i would like to submit the concept of a "the bright sessions" au!

it's a podcast about people who have superpowers, known as atypicals, it follows a therapist who helps her patients to cope with her powers. there is also a government organisation called The AM that surveys these atypicals and keeps some people with more dangerous/strong powers in a facility to test their abilities

puffy could be the therapist, she has no abilities but she does have a connection to tommy, who has the ability to mimic other people's powers. puffy used to work for the organisation (open to name suggestions) until she found out they had taken tommy in to test his limits, and then she left.

one day they get tommy to mimic a time-traveler but the person he's copying dies while they're running a test which leaves him stuck in a coma and they keep him there. puffy tries for years to get him out, but has been unsuccessful so far.

puffy's current patients include:

-tubbo; another time traveler who can only passively visit the past, he can't interact with anything or anyone. recently he has found himself in the 1800s a lot, where he keeps seeing some blonde teenager who can actually see him while he's in the past

-wilbur; a telepath who can hear other people's thoughts, and has recently made friends with technobalde via some club or group thing

-philza; an empath who can feels the emotions of people around him which amplifies his own emotions

-dream; with the ability of mind manipulation which causes people around him to be compelled to do what he wants

-ranboo; a dreamwalker who can appear in other people's dreams and manipulate what happens in them

-technoblade; who was experimented on by the aforementioned organisation and given atypical abilities with some lasting side effects (the voices in his head)

"Atypicals are individuals who have a unique ability that is currently unexplained by the scientific community. Within the classification system of atypicals, they are rated from 1-10. A rating of 1 indicates an extremely dormant power, whereas a rating of 10 indicates a very strong ability that controls the individual, rather than the individual controlling and manipulating their own power."

There are also five classes of the atypicals: A-Psychic, B-Elememtal, C-Physical, D-Space and Time, and E-High Risk

Re: Grumpus classification, specifically Homo Grumpus Varietus/Cryptodigitus

"Homo" just means "same", and it stands to reason that if they're the dominant species in their global ecosystem, that's how they would contextualize themselves and their evolutionary cousins.

"Varietus" refers to their extreme body diversity, which they believed set them apart from other (similarly intelligent) Grumps, until contact was made in the late 80s with a group from another species that shared that with them.

Modern Cryptodigitus Grumps mostly descend from three branches: the Valley (built like lions/wolves), Mountain (built like bears), and Arboreal Grumps (built like sloths), each of which were close to speciating and had wildly different body types, but pressure from other factions during the First Wars (early territory disputes that wiped most species off the face of the planet) forced them into close proximity. The Mountain Grumps also shared their territory with a slightly more distant group, the Magnumanibus ("big hands", built like snow leopards), which you could consider the Grumpus equivalent to Neanderthals. There is also an abundance of evidence towards the existence of a fifth branch, tentatively nicknamed the Burrowers in absence of anything more concrete, but their records are incredibly fragile, and, having been confirmed less than a decade ago, not much has been found to tell us about what they were like before integrating into what would become Cryptodigitus.

Historically, the idea that their species was inherently superior to others due to their willingness to bond with others that do not look the same has been used to claim that other species aren't as "kind" or "socially intelligent", so, now that there's proof they're not alone, taxonomists have been pushing to change it to "Cryptodigitus" instead, which refers to their reduced pinky fingers.

This is actually a really important adaptation, as silly as it may sound. Modern Cryptodigitus Grumps appear to only have four fingers, each of which are considerably thicker and stronger than other species', while the pinky, as said before, is now just a nub on the side of the palm. Picture a panda's paw, and you've got it pretty close. However, this nub is still mobile, and it allows Cryptodigitus to curl their hands into a sort of pitcher's mitt shape. Obviously this would be useful for throwing and catching, which they did in fact learn quicker than other species, but more importantly, it gives them an entirely new way to interact with fine tools. While they were not the most technologically advanced at the time of the First Wars - that honor likely goes to the Stone(cutter) Grumps, recognized in modern years as the Latami - their weapons and such were built in such a way that other species could not take and use them without significant alterations, simply due to the shape of their hands.

The prince  sighed heavily, leaning against his carriage window. His family had been traveling for quite a few days now. They were going to a “neighboring” kingdom. The prince huffed, Neighboring kingdom my ass. His father, The king,  hit his back. “Now, Sean. That isn't very prince like of you. If you want to be respected in this world-”

“Sit up tall, and be confident.” Sean copied under his breath, which was heavy. Not as heavy as the second sigh he let out after. “Father, we’ve been on the road for days. You can’t expect me to not be tired, and upset.” 

“You know that-” 

“Yeah yeah, we’re going so that I can find a princess to marry and take over the kingdom.” The king huffed, rolling his eyes at the way he’d been twice now. I don't even want to get married. Not to a girl anyway. The prince leaned back up against the window, closing his eyes. 

They had only been on the road a couple more hours, when his mother tapped him lightly. “Sweetheart, we’re at the kingdom.” Sean squinted his eyes, light shining through the carriage. He stepped out, his father quickly smoothing out The Prince’s clothes so he didn't look a mess. They walked along a trail, while Sean looked around the town. He hadn't seen anything of interest, until they walked by a blacksmith. Holy strong shirtless man oh god- Sean had to take a second to get his breath back. His Mother had noticed that he had stopped, and was staring. The Queen grabbed him by the shirt, pulling his body gently along the path. “Sean, If your father finds out about you he’ll kill you. And I mean that seriously. Please try and hide your longing, for now.” 

Sean wiped his mouth of drool, and quickly nodded, running up to meet his father. Some of the more noble girls that were watching giggled. The prince just waved at them, blushing a little. Still because of the blacksmith, but that wasn't for them to know. After a couple minutes of walking, they arrived at a castle, surrounded by guards.
