Komi 316: Everyone’s White Day
Like two weeks late on this, lol. But hey, we’re here now! I was playing Astroneer. It’s pretty cool.
Oh, man. This chapter was so good. Hardly anything to nitpick about. Oda has been on a roll lately.
I was not expecting to see so many side pairings getting shown some progress, but I am so so so pleased that that’s what we were given in this chapter. I won’t mention every single one, but let me just say now that I love them.
Katai Ai remains my top pick for Shousuke. Sorry, Hitosuke lovers. No hate intended. She is just TOO CUTE. I love her.
Sanjuurokurou continues to have his head in the clouds. Thinking he can date two girls at once? Who does he think he is, some kind of isekai protagonist? lol. Seeing both girls break his heart was both sad and satisfying at the same time. Dude honestly kind of had it coming. Curious to see where his character goes from here.
Ase and Naruse! HOLY SHIT!! I was NOT expecting Naruse to do that of all things. But in retrospect, it is so in character for him to pull a stunt like this. I am so proud that Komi prevented Isagi from murdering him. She’s become such a good wingwoman for them.
I really loved seeing the elementary schoolers again. They’re all so adorable. But holy shit is Ooki ripped. What the hell has he been doing? Also for some reason he turned into that Tyler1 meme. You know the one.
Tadano’s turn was pretty good, all things considered. I still don’t understand why he gave Komi a cookie like the others when he already knows cookies mean “just friends”.
Manbagi could have been a bit more chill, but I’ve come to accept that she’s just like that. It doesn’t pay to keep getting worked up every time her switch gets flipped. I’m over it, fam.
TADANO AND KOMI ARE GOING ON A DATE. This is what I’ve been waiting for! It’s not in the next chapter, but soon! So very soon! GAH!! The anticipation for that is just absolutely killing me.
Next chapter is looking to be excellent. Tadano goes on a “date” with Komi’s father and brother. Stay tuned.
