i just got possessed and binged dawn in about 5 seconds so here's my take on the Oankali

Class assignment to create a representation of the Oankali aliens from Octavia Butler's Dawn. It's a very interesting book, I'd recommend it.

can't get over people misgendering Jodhas. Like if you're gonna call it he or she just stop talking completely until you read the book again and grasp the most basic fucking concepts it has to offer you.

How many times does Jodhas have to correct people who call it he or she or insist it's secretly male or female and you people still can't just do the bare minimum of calling it by its pronouns?

On the third book? In a trilogy?? which has had characters who uses it/its pronouns the whole damn time?

And you claim you support trans people? But you can't even do the bare minimum of respecting a fictional character's pronouns?

And you expect us to believe you'll respect real trans people in real life?
