          eyes glance downwards towards one of the more obvious bandages wrapped around his body-- this one practically covering his left arm. he hadn’t even felt the blood beginning to seep through as wounds no doubt reopened for... wow, he’d lost count how many times since returning. but then-- nothing had really felt real since he’d returned from the month as a captive of the dark side of this war. time ceased to exist the moment he was captured, and it hadn’t really returned and started since.   

          there is a part of him that feels something deep within-- a certain tugging at his heart at seeing cedric again, at the gentle and easy comfort and kindness he offers. 

( but how unworthy of it you feel. unclean. dirtied by all they did to you, the endless torture that has left soul tattered and bruised. you do not deserve his light. ) 

          “you don’t have to do this.” finally, bucky finds his voice, eyes still fixed on the bandages, watching the patterns of seeping blood-- anything to not look into those familiar eyes because he KNOWS the moment he does, he’s done for. will sink, will take all he doesn’t deserve. “plenty of people more deserving of your kindness, ced.”

Same, girl. Same. Endverse!Dean does all kinda things to me. So obviously when I knew I was writing Dangerous, he just seemed to fit naturally. ;)
