It is also utilizing the Oov. What isn’t shown here is how you can also take the movement more into the transverse (rotational) plane for more options, especially for your rotational sport athletes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This version might be useful for someone who has a labral tear at the hip or someone who struggles with the teaser on the reformer. The Oov enables a natural articulation of the spine with feedback. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If I were a cuing my own movement here, I would actually try to preserve lumbar flexion a bit longer as I come to sit with a good tactile or verbal cue to send the lower ribs back as I roll up.
