"Expectation" - (3rd day Post-Op) . . Today was the first visit to my doctor after my surgery. I was very excited and looked forward to hearing how the surgery went. . The visit included removing some of the surgical bandages, cleaning the incisions, and x-rays of my knee. Also, we went over the pictures they took during my surgery and explained when, how, and why questions. . I did not expect that, but I am beyond grateful for the experience. Knowing what happened to my knee and how I need to move forward for my recovery was priceless. . Now I can set clear expectations for myself and start my long journey for recovery. . "ek-spek-tey-shuhn: the act or state of looking forward or anticipating." . Expect more from yourself than from others because expectations from others hurt a lot, while expectations from yourself inspire a lot. That’s life. . “Awareness” - (1st day Post-Op) . . This morning I woke up with a full realization that I had an ACL reconstructed surgery on my knee and started a new journey of healing and recovery. . Soon after, I was bombarded with good wishes, prayers, and encouraging words from my friends and family 😍 . ac·knowl·edge : to be real or true; recognizing the existence, truth, or fact of: . This was not my first using a #seabob but my overall experience was out of this world. . This thing has 4 different speeds and can go underwater as much as you willing. . Have you ever tired seabob? where? .
