Roddy is standing around moping about being leader again, saying he's "dreamed" of OP. Some people seem to read this as shipping fodder, I see Roddy more as one of OP's many kids.
I'm so glad they didn't make Roddy the bad guy in this episode, it'd be so easy to do that to appease all the angry fans. But no, he's still competent and he comes up with a real plan to save OP's body.
Thank Primus for this one girl who decided to save everyone by doing the right thing. Real heroine here.
I think they've told this "haha Galvy says 'they're all crazy I don't belong here'" joke before. It is funny, but also kind of sad.
Aaand kind of a cheap way to revive OP, just grab a random Quintesson and boom. Kinda makes death feel a bit meaningless.

He fights Roddy for the matrix and I'm so glad they didn't play this in a way that made Roddy the bad guy or incompetent. He's been infected same as everyone else and OP honestly is a little too nice to him. Dude apologize later just knock him out and take the matrix before more people die!
And it's a very Avatar the Last Airbender moment where he visits the Past Avatars/Matrix wielders to ask for help. When you compare something to Avatar there's no higher praise.

And I'm also so glad Roddy losing the Matrix isn't in a way that makes him seem lame. It's gone altogether, there's no way he can go back, and they don't reset the status quo.
