When it comes to the most recent situation in our fandom, I have to remind everyone that we shouldn't send hate. I understand that's extremely hard when even one of the people we love seems to have joined the Anti group, but PLEASE be civil!

I think now is a great time to show more love for Cote. Let's show her that no matter what lies we may here, we're not foolish enough to believe them and we still support Cote 100% in whatever she chooses to do.

I doubt Cote cared whether Tiva would get together or not and "equal pay" so she should make what mark makes right? NO she hasn't been on the show in the beginning of when this show first started have any of you considered the fact that she wanted to do something else? No because this what you guys want not what COTE wants and seems like to me that cote is having a fun time with her friends based on Diane tweets.

Thanks for showing us that you're one of the people who have been against us. I've proven this wrong so many times in the past that I won't even bother doing it again. I'm sorry that you can't bring yourself to believe that Cote wanted equal rights for herself, I'm sorry that you don't care about her or the show enough to show support for her, and most of all, I'm sorry you have the grammar of an eleven year old.

Don't mean to spread hate or be offensive or anything, but have you considered the fact that maybe Cote DID leave because she wanted to? I mean, if the part about her contact was true, then she would've left next season, anyway. IDK just food for thought...

No, that does not necessarily mean that she wanted to leave next season. She also wanted equal pay, which they denied to give her. If she had signed on for one more year, I understand how it can be assumed that it's to sum up her character's story, but it would have been easier for everyone if she had been on a one year contract because she would have been on the same timeframe as everyone else. I personally have considered a one year contract could be her way of seeing if they'd explore Tony and Ziva's relationship and giving them a do or die situation. Either make Tiva get together or continue the useless sexual tension that leads nowhere. If they had continued the sexual tension with nothing leading to an actual relationship, then she would have seen it as no use to stay on the show, because yes, there are many fans that I've seen who watch mostly because of the Tiva relationship. While this is just a really far fetched thought of mine, it makes sense to me if they disagreed with that idea and had no idea where Tiva is going, so she decided to stop fooling their audience into having hope by leaving. Again, just an opinion, but overall, there isn't anything saying or hinting that Cote went through money negotiations just so that she could spend a single year remaining on the show. If she was really planning to spend only one final year, the money negotiations would have been slightly less important, but they clearly meant a lot to her.

New hope for BBC

I just found this:

It's from an interview with criminal minds actress AJ Cook. If you look at this... Well, the circumstances in her case and in Cote's may be different. But this proves that if CBS 'let Cote go', we can get her back!

It's just a bit of new BBC-related hope :) And Ziva-related hope. I definitely want Ziva to come back bigger, better and stronger!

Genuine query: wouldn't it be more of a tribute to Cote to give all the money to a charity near and dear to her heart instead of potentially spending several thousand dollars on one newspaper ad? I would - indeed I might yet - give money to charity as a thank you. I'm _not_ in the BBC campaign, but I like her and will miss her. However, I definitely won't support spending thousands of dollars on the next day's chip paper. I can't fathom that as a tribute at all, and don't understand the logic.

I've seen a lot of discussion over this, and I personally think both the newspaper idea and the charity donations are great ideas in their own ways.

The ad - well, that would be huge. I imagine it's not easy getting something on the cover of a paper as huge as the one they're using, especially if this much money is required. I think it must be an amazing feeling for anyone to see their face on front page for a great reason, such as a thank you for all her hard work, rather than just news and controversy about the fact that she is no longer on the show.

Of course, while I believe it would put a smile on Cote's face, (and her fans as well,) donating to her favorite charity is a terrific idea too. Not only are you making Cote happy and her fans happy for making her happy, but this also will help and cheer up people who need it even more than we do.

Both are amazing things that would make Cote happy, so it doesn't matter which cause you support more or which you put your money towards, if you do. I hope those that can pitch in do for either one and those who can't afford it at least spread the word about the charity. Even those who don't know much about Cote can see the charity as a great idea, so we have a better chance of gaining thousands for that than we do of making a front page header happen.
