I love this about them so much. Because, for Tony, it’s always about wrangling his wayward ninja. He uses his touch to ground her more aggressive and reactive impulses. And her look is always “WHO DARE— oh, it’s you and I kinda like this so I guess I won’t murder you” or she just doesn’t flinch at all, which is odd because again, with anyone else, she’d be threatened. And Ziva! She just has the grabby hands with Tony. Any stupid reason she can get to touch him, she’ll take. She wants his attention on her and her alone and she physically demands it. She knows how easily she can refocus him with her touch. Except when he’s already paying attention to her. Then she keeps her very careful distance lest she give anything anyway.

It’s been several hours since the two-parter, and it still doesn’t feel real. I honestly can’t process the fact that Ziva’s back, and she’s going to be reunited with Tony and Tali, and that everyone on the team is going to have scenes with 2019 Ziva. Her scenes so far with the other characters have been unbelievable, and not just hers.

There’s going to be some big character development this season, as well as setups to Ellick and Slibbs content (or should I say Borres and Sloabbs?). Even though I don’t ship either of them, I am happy for the people who do, because I remember exactly what it was like waiting and waiting to get new Tiva content. And we’re also going to get new Tiva content, so yay! In conclusion, life doesn’t seem real at the moment and I want it to stay that way.
