Ayo yall! lord goda has blessed us with another chapter this week!

the “who the hell are you” line could easily be a meaningless line to showcase the astonishment of kaido at luffiy’s new form, but i really feel worried because this question may actually mean “who are you related to, whats in your blood, what is special about you?”, I’m worried one piece goes down the “luffy is a special boy born with something that makes him better than everyone else” goda has always flirted with the idea but luffy’s luck and haki don't really qualify.

for me the appeal of one piece is the power fantasy of fixing the world if you believe hard enough, so if luffy turns out to be the reincarnation of some god then I’m really nor gonna be able love one piece like i always did.

OK WOW, for a bit in this fight it seemed like zuneisha was misreading luffy as someone else but she seems to understand this is not the joyboy she knew, but a new one.

you’re gonna have to get your shit together momo, cause this is par for the course, luffy will kick kaido to all hell for sure so you will need to hold the earth up.

also its just really funny to me how yamato is holding him by his dragon whiskers, the concept of grabbing a giant lizards whiskers and seeing like a solid line of teeth really makes me respect yamato for mentoring momo and making sure he keeps calm and useful, real babysitter vibes.

god holy shit i love this fucking arc so much its gonna be so hard for oda to top this one, I’m still sure the next arc is gonna be focused on the crew because like. for fucks sake! i need to see how are they gonna cope doing missions without luffy, how do they negotiate and make allies without luffy, luffy often manages to cruise the crew comfortably through arcs by his kindness and charisma, so what is gonna happen if say zoro or sanji or usopp were to take the lead? really interesting thoughts.
