Velvette originally discounted Charlie as naive & a pushover until her interview/fight with Katie Killjoy. Seeing Charlie go to bat for her dreams is definitely what drew Velvette in.

Charlie will send a packed lunch and/or delivery from one of Velvette's favourite takeout places during pre-show crunch times; she worries about Velvette not taking breaks/neglecting herself to get the product out. [Alastor has been the delivery boy for the packed lunches before because he knows it pisses Vox off]

They don't have a lot of time for like, actual dates where they go somewhere, so they try to make time where they can each be working on their own thing in the same room.

Charlie reached an agreement with Mammon, that one of his factories/workforces could be used to produce Velvette's clothes. He gets 49% of the profits in exchange, Velvette gets to sell her clothing in other rings [not something available to sinners, usually], and Charlie gets the first-edition run of anything produced.

Velvette convinced Vox to give Charlie a discounted rate to run her advertisements for the hotel.
