THERE’S A GROUP OF TEN CHILDREN in the living room, ranging from toddlers to older teenagers, all in various stages of disarray. on the floor, canvases looking to be glued together to cover its entirely, handprints and little feet left behind in many colours. the children are all covered in paint, some appearing to take the exercise more seriously than the others, and jester’s blue skin is indistinguishable from the reds and purples and greens that mar her body. on her lap, the littlest of the bunch, a perhaps red skinned tiefling that’s all gummy smiles wearing what was once a yellow dress, listening attentively as she presses her little hand on a blank spot. it leaves behind a perfect purple print, but then the little girl giggles, smearing it around to mix it with the other colours. ❝ well, who am i to question an artist’s vision, ❞ jester grins, tickling the little girl’s sides to make her laugh more, before her gaze shifts to the open door. ❝ oh, hi !! is it six already ?? we’re technically done here. ❞
